Hello Brazil!!

First of all I am trying to write this on the iPad...I hope this turned out good. As you all know it's World Cup season and we say hello to Brazil. I was honestly worried that the World Cup wouldn't even have its opening ceremony after reading that most of the construction of the stadiums, walkways etc was not completly done. Glad they had their first kick off 3 hours ago.

Group A, Brazil versus Croatia. Croatia was leading the first half of the first half with an own goal by Marcelo. After that Neymar scored twice and to add more salt to injury Oscar scored the third. I really thought Croatia would've pushed forward but after Neymar's penalty I think it went from bad to worse. They missed a lot of chances but they can still do better in their next two games. 

     

Ok, side note. I've been following the transfer window since the football season ends and was hoping Fabregas would come back to Arsenal since he is rumor to leave Barcelona. Arsenal gets first pick to buy him back and also heard they might try to get Carlos Vela back too. But then I saw this and kinda breaks my heart....

It is sad! But he still is wearing his infamous number 4 jersey...in BLUE! Ughhh...disgusts me :P Why Arsene Wenger, why?!???!!! Enough rant. El capitan, you will always be a gunner to me...even in Blue.

Football update: Champions League

Arsenal 3 v 1 Olympiacos

The last of the 2 game week came on Thursday morning for me (245am) and I did not stay up to watch it. Simply because the last game I saw they lost haha, and I made a mistake of laying on my bed waiting for the match to start. If I did not, I would probably be glued in front of the tv.

I was kinda sad because they won. I wanted to watch the game where they win and not lose :P. I was on my iPod on the EuroSport app and first half they were level at 1-1. I think that made me even lazier to get up and watch the second half, because I was afraid it was gonna end up in a draw and it would be a waste for me to watch the game. XD you know sleep is kinda important.

Podolski and Ramsey scored in the second half, and I think it might be Ramsey's first goal of the season. I was so relieve! meaning they won the game. I think it puts them on the top of Group B. I hope they stay that way and do not end up meeting any teams from the Premier League (Chelsea, Manchester Utd or Manchester City).

Another good game boys! Now if only you can apply this method when you play against Manchester Utd, Chelsea or Manchester City, that would be awesome.

Arsenal

League Cup: Arsenal v Coventry City

Last night was the 3rd round of the Capitol One cup (I think it was the Carling cup before?) and Arsenal played at home against Coventry City. I knew it was going to be a good game but I was really pissed that they didn't play it live on tv. Come on Astro!

Anyway I was happy that Arshavin get to start and Chamakh was on the bench. A lot of the players that played in the game was not the usual first 11 players and I was excited to watch Martinez, Yennaris and Miquel on the pitch. I hope I get to watch the replay. They freakin' won 6-1!

Arsenal

Olivier Giroud finally scored his 1st goal on his 7th appearance for the club. I was so excited about this. :D He has been trying to score and finally got it. I hope this bring him luck in the games to come. Alex 'The-Ox' scored an awesome goal too after Giroud missed the penalty. As I predicted Arshavin gets his first goal this season, Miquel added one and Walcott scored 2 to make up 6 for Arsenal. Overall I am happy with the score line. Coventry got a consolation goal in the 78' minute.

The fourth round is set to be played end of October where Arsenal will meet Reading. I hope they will do as good as they did in the 3rd round. The good news is Manchester United will have to meet Chelsea. So one less team to worry about! :D

Football: START!

Okay so football season have started like a month or something but they have only played 5 games + 1 UEFA Champions League game so it's still in the beginning stages. :D (Yes I am talking about Europe football or as some may know as soccer.) If it is still not clear I am an Arsenal supporter and always will be :D (Unless they all move to Barcelona and they start to suck maybe I might change my mind :P)

After the Sunday games, Manchester United goes to 2nd and Arsenal goes to 5th with Manchester City to 7th. They are only separated by goal difference. Thanks to the Arsenal v Southampton game last week which ended with a 6 - 1 win. They are currently still unbeaten with 2 wins and 3 draws. Today's game is kinda important cause they are playing against last season winner. And most of Manchester City's players are ex-Gunners. Booo~~~! :P

Since they have lost Robin Van Persie and Alex Song at the start of the season, Arsenal gained 3 valuable players: Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud. The partnership between Cazorla and Podolski is pretty awesome so far and looked like they have played together for years. I hope they can bring some magic to the Emirates this season. I think this could be one of the best teams they have since the Fab4 (Fabregas, Hleb, Flamini, & Rosicky). I hope they play Marouane Chamakh and Andrey Arshavin this season. I miss watching them play.

They started off really good in the Champions League beating Montpellier 2-1. I hope they keep up their winning streak in the Champions League cause it will be a pretty tough battle. And Giroud still need to start scoring :D I can't wait for his first goal this season.

Football Update: The best news so far!

Arsenal just signed another player and will start this summer! This is one of the best news I have heard in a long time (other than they just replaced Cesc Fabregas with the hottie Mikel Arteta!). They have signed Lukas Podolski! OMFGadasfshwuhwerhnj!

If you are a football fan (I am not so, but I do follow!) he plays for the German national team and I am always weary when ever he plays cause he is so good! I am so glad Arsenal gets him for next season. After replacing 8 key players on the first squad, having Podolski hopefully would strengthen the team even more. I would love to see Chamakh play more and Vela and Bendtner return to the squad. And Denilson. We will see if any of the loan players would move permanently.

I am so excited after hearing the news on Twitter from the Arsenal camp. :D This brings hope and hopefully it would be a magical for seasons to come. Welcome home Podolski!

Goodbye to a legend, again: Football update

It's been awhile since I update/post any football news....because my team sucks pretty bad this season. I guess they did win some awesome games and stuff. Some games I saw was just devastating. So beginning of the year Arsene Wenger decided to bring back Theirry Henry for a short stint. Honestly I think the fans (me included) missed him ...a LOT. Taking him back for just those few games really made a difference.

Henry did score a few times and actually won some game with Arsenal. Now, after his final game in Sunderland last Saturday he bid us farewell again. The second time. It is really sad to see a good player like him go, again. Henry I hope you come back to Arsenal. For good this time. We will miss you (again). And thank you. :)

Football update: Arsenal season 2011/2012

Last weekend was the start of the new season. Football. My life. The football season keeps my insane life more insane and I get to compete and talk bullshit with my male friends, what's not to like? :D But having your other half there with you would be a lot nicer.

This move was (not) a big shocker. There was a lot of speculation that he wanted to move since 2 years ago but he always state that he is a true Gunner. But we all know he can only be a true Gunner for so long and one day would move back to his hometown, Barcelona. I actually was very disappointed to hear he actually wanted to move this season. After losing Clichy, this was one sad, sad story to me. And he was the captain and was pretty good too! =____=''

The started their first game last Saturday which they draw, 0 - 0 with Newcastle United. They also played in the UEFA Champions League vs Udinese Calcio and they won. :) Yay! Their next game is this Saturday against Liverpool and I am excited. :)

Football update: Arsenal v Everton

We Arsenal won!! YAY!! I am always ecstatic when they win...hehe ^^. They had a game Sunday for the FA cup and then less than 48 hours had another game against Everton. How do they do it?! 0.o I bet they get real tired but have another few days to rest and train for their Newcastle United match on Saturday, which I will be watching :). Yay...let's hope they win! We need to keep up with the leader of the table I assume is still Manchester United.

On that note, did you know Fernando Torres moved to Chelsea? O.o That's what I heard, tell me it isn't true. WHY? Why Torres?????? You disappoint me in going blue....*sigh* Let's hope they do bad eh.. :P I like Torres tho....this is tough!

Anyway, we (as in CLK and I) are having a Superbowl Monday party...just the two of us and a bunch of virtual people...LOL sad isn't it?? I know it's on Sunday but it will be played on Monday where I am, so Superbowl Monday, although it does not rhyme. Are you watching the Superbowl this Sunday?

Football update: FA cup

Shall I say, one game down and more to go :) The FA cup match against Huddersfield Town was scary.
CLK and I was watching this very rare game that comes on at 8pm, but it was raining hard. I was glad it calmed down before the game ends :). When Bendtner scored the first goal I was like "OK! We can do this!" and we were also watching Better off Ted (our favorite!) while the game was on half time. Then when Sebastien Squillaci was give a red card and sent off I was like "damn, not again". I was hoping the won't lose this game, that would really suck.

But of course when Cesc Fabregas came in, the game turned. :D They got a penalty and scored, of course! :D Yay win!!! It really suck because Denilson and Nasir got injured. Get well soon!! I am actually really excited because they have another game on Tuesday. I just hope they can win and are not too tired from the last game. Good luck team!!

Like literally ...we are going to the finals!!! Arsenal I mean XD I can't remember the last time they were ever in the finals. Maybe like years and years back? They were almost thru last season but was short. I was so scared that they were going to lose against Ipswich Town on Tuesday that I did not watch the game. Nerves. I did catch the repeat tho. Epic Arsenal game. Awesome. Another 3 - 0 score. I think 3 should be a lucky number for the Gunners this year. :D But not finishing 3rd of course, that would just be terrible.

Football update: Last few games

I have been dreading posting football updates, as you see I have less and less of them. Don't get me wrong I do watch em :) (YAY GO ARSENAL!!) but they disappoint me when I feel like they should make me excited and happy. Ya know what I mean?! Meaning more winning, less draws...thankfully they have not lost many games so far and this Saturday night, FA cup and they have their Carling cup semi final match Wednesday. So contemplating to go to my orchestra practice or not XD. Shhhhhhh don't tell my conductor!!

Football update: What happened last week

Hey guys~ It has been almost 10 days. Sorry =___='' It has been a busy week. :) Will update soon! Just had our Christmas/year end concert and it was Ah-mazing! :) First time I have felt so happy after a show! ^__^

So I wanted to update about football. First of all, the game tonight (18th December, 1500 UK time) is postponed because there is a blizzard in London. I am kinda sad but the snow is so beautiful.

See? Awesome huh? But the game is postponed. Sucks. Arsenal vs Stoke City will commence until further notice. Last week they met Manchester United for a match but they lost, 1 - 0. Which sucks more. *sigh*

They will meet Barcelona for the round of 16 for the Champions League and it does not seem very bright. Like ending the run for the Champions League. So no game tonight, maybe that means early night? :)

My football update

This is a football update so...if you are not a football fan, turn your face away...or I'll entertain you with a picture of my cat, Charlie.

So last Wednesday (I watched it Thursday morning) Arsenal played their last Champions League match against FK Partizan Beograd. They are in Group H, and was top of that group but lost their last game so they need to win this game in order to go on to the last 16. In normal talk, they better win or pack their bags. Well actually I think they have a good chance to go to the last 16 rounds but a win would be sweeter. I did not update my football last month because they weren't doing very good. (Lost a lot of games and really poor performance).

I am happy to report that they cruise past FK Partizan Beograd. :) I was scared a lil when they scored 1 each but then it was smooth sailing. Although Bacary Sagna did get a red card, minutes before time. What a shame. I hope they get to play somewhat mediocre team next cause I want them in the finals!

I hope they didn't take down the video again, if they do check out footytube if you are interested in the clips. :)

They had a game Saturday against Fulham and won! Of course, it was one of those long game and you get very edgy. It was a pretty good game, Samir Nasri scored both goals. I thought they were gonna give it all away or get a draw from the game. It took them a very long time to score the second goal and thankfully they did! Don't scare us like that Arsenal! (At least don't scare me :P).

The week before they had a Carling Cup clash and since all the top teams are out, I hope Arsenal would be favorite to win the cup. :) The matches for the cup match in January are as follows:

I didn't watch that game because Manchester United was playing...see the problem? But this morning, OMFG!!! They lost!!! >:D *evil laugh* See people at Astro, you should put the Arsenal game live because Manchester United got beaten bad by West Ham United (4 - 0)...muahahhahahah!! Evil..I am evil!!!

Footie update!! Ok ok, I am soooooooooooo happy!! ^__^ Can you tell?! Can you can you?!! Of course, because it's football update again! :D Tonight I watched 3 games (I am so rocking football weekend and surprise at myself) and I actually sat there watching Liverpool play Blackburn because I cannot watch the Arsenal game! Imagine how pissed I was?!?!?! Although that you internet, I did follow it live online and did kinda catch it on the telly now and then. Ugghhh.

So I watched the Manchester United and Stoke game, Liverpool and Blackburn game and Manchester City and Arsenal game. I am happy to inform you that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal WON!! Woohoo, I am most excited for Arsenal. They won 3-0 and now number 2 under Chelsea. I wish Chelsea would drop more points :P. Liverpool game was a pretty good one to watch. They (finally!) won, 2-1. Fernando Torres scored the second goal. Yay Torres, I was waiting and hoping he would finally do his magic. :) Yay for Torres.

I didn't pay much attention to the Manchester game tho, I know they won and it was kind of blurry. I had a nice chat with my friend Kathy in Aussie. :) Gossiping while watching football is the best XD. So on to the Arsenal game, first goal was from Nasri. :) The second was Song and third the beloved Nicklas Bentdner. I have not seen that man on the pitch for so long!! Well done Bendtner! :D Way to boost your confidence. The weird thing was that Fabregas missed a penalty and it was ashamed that he did. But at least they won, yay! I say yay a lot I know. I am just excited even tho I did not watch the game. I am definitely going to look for a replay for that game.

I said "HEYyyy" - Football Update

I was ready for Arsenal game last this morning, and literally fell asleep after the 2nd half started. =__='' Fail! This morning was the Champions League clash - Arsenal vs Shakhtar Donetsk. The commentator said this team was one of the team to look out in this group, but well... Arsenal did beat them. 5 to 1. I suppose they were not in their normal game stride. :)

One of the saddest moment in the game (sad? Really? XD) was that a former Gunner, Eduardo was playing for the team. Awww...I did like Eduardo and was surprised about him leaving Arsenal. I did blogged about that. He stated that if he did score against his former club he wasn't going to celebrate. He did score - the only goal - and true to his word he did not celebrate. But then again why would you if you were 4 goals down. =___='' But everyone was happy to see him play after the awful incident that side lined him for a whole season, broke his ankle (oh I saw it and it was horrifying! I will have to find a picture) and then he moved. :( Sad wish he would've stayed another season. And Aaron Ramsey is going through the same thing!! Broke his ankle after a bad tackle.. I wish you well Aaron!! Can't wait to see you play again!! Ok I found a picture and it is gonna be a lil horrifying (like A LOTTTT) and you can skip it if you are like me. I can't bear to look at it. Maybe I'll make it really small ok?

OhMyGosh, I watched that LIVE!! when it broke and they did not show a reply just a lot of players shaking their heads and holding in emotions, it was a sad day. But now he is better and playing and scored!! Great recovery. But yeah onto the game.

The game was a really good one, I have not enjoyed a good game in a long time. It tend to get bored or just less goals so yeah 5 is a good number. I told CLK that they might score 8 even! if all is according to plan. :P He said that the first goal was pretty quick but I told him it was not quick enough.

The goal scorers were Alex Song (19m), Samir Nasri (42m), Cesc Fabregas (PEN-59m), Jack Wilshere (66m), and Marouane Chamakh  (69m). Arshavin came in the second half but did not score. Overall I was pretty pleased with the result (GO GUNNERS!!) and after the win at Birmingham, I hope they can do it all over again this Saturday, clash with Manchester City. Arsenal is always good in midweek and then come weekend they would totally suck (to me anyway, do you feel so Arsenal fans?). I really did wish they would score 8 - 0. :P

A good night for us Gunners fan

Last night was hectic. I was at a show, went to dinner with this sweet 'uncle' and then watch like 30 minutes of football? I wish I had been watching the whole game but I came home at 1125 and the game started 940 or so, so no luck there. Although I didn't watch the game I did watch the Full Time report. YAY Gunner fans! We won (finally!) after a disappointing few games prior. I am kinda vague on details but I think Chamakh and Nasri scored the winning goals. Also young Jack Wilshere got a red card for a tackle and I think deserve it. We don't need another player breaking a foot (literally in half!) over some tough, head on tackle. Young Jack don't worry people make mistake.

And little did I know a former Gunner player Alex Hleb, was playing for Birmingham! Like what? Meh you should've stayed at Arsenal rather than moving to Barcelona (was it?). Sorry I am lazy to check out the facts but I am sure he did move to Barcelona one or 2 seasons ago. XDD

2 weeks ago (I think, oh gosh has it been 2 weeks?) Arsenal played Chelsea and true to my feelings they LOST. Bad, well 2-0 isn't that bad I suppose but to Arsenal fans they are pretty bad indeed. *sigh* I was heartbroken, not! I guess because I wasn't watching it. But that was to be expected. The game before they also lost...so it's like a freakin losing streak...and we need to stand up and fight more men!!!

Well now everyone is on International duties. I don't remember if it was for the Euro 2012 qualifiers or friendlies or both, probably both so regular football will commence next weekend. Mehh, we lost so what?? *go and hide in the corner eating popcorn*

Football update: Carling cup, Barclays Premier League, Champions League

Ok, I thought I updated on the Carling Cup 3rd round but I guess I forgot about it. Last week (I think it was) Arsenal played at White Hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspur. The result during regular time was devastating (1-1 I guess not so bad) but Arsenal came back from 1 all to win it 4-1, 2 were penalties from Samir Nasri and 1 was a real cool goal by Arshavin (I nicknamed turtle LOL). So that was awesome *2 thumbs up*.

And as I always predicted, when they have a great week they would literally suck in the weekend. Like LITERALLY, since they lost to West Brom. To make matters worse the lost at home. :(( Boo!! But I guess a lil consolation price for that night is that Chelsea also lost to Manchester City. >:D Bwahahahaha!!! But still they lost, boooooo!!!

And at the moment, I am watching their game against Partizan Belgrade (Champions League). Will update!!

So ermm yeah, I kinda fell asleep (ok, I fell asleep) after the first half cause it was late and truth be told I think the game was kinda ... boring. o.O I know right?? You would think I'd be jumping for joy...but it was pretty late, like 330am. Hello? :P Anyway, I did watch the repeat at 630 (o.O why couldn't I just wait to see it then?) and YAY! they did win (thank god!). When I was watching the game Live, they were 1 all, and I was worried if they were just gonna draw but I was wrong. Pheww~ At least they didn't lose. Gotta love Arsenal. And of course Carlos Vela was playing too altho he didn't score any (I think he might be my next fave if Fabregas should decide to move to Barcelona..booo!!). :) So I was a happy girl.
