Day 10 & 11 || Photo Challenge

I forgot to post day 10 yesterday, I was too tired from picking up and dropping off. So day 10 is smooth.

Day 10 - Smooth. There was so much thing I wanted to take a picture of but the day was winding down and I just thought the car drive smoothly and the drive was smooth so...hence the picture of the steering wheel, which I might add feels pretty smooth too.

Day 11 is 'I wore this!'.

Sorry for the blurry photo but these were taken from my Instagram so...yeah, and the camera of my phone is pretty crappy. I think I may need to upgrade, ahem ahem. LOL So today decided to wear my NYX Indian pink, which I don't remember buying. I have worn this a couple of time. I love the NYX round lipsticks but this is not a must have. I think I am more of a matte person. I don't like shimmery lipsticks but the color is nice. And I wanted to wear this dragonfly earrings that was a birthday present from CLK's mom :). I feel so loved. I should remember to take another photo with my camera next time.

Playlist Friday: Britney Spears - Womanizer

I love Britney, love her songs and videos but not so much her drama. I love her songs because some of her songs are awesome for dancing to and you know how much I love to dance (even if I am not the greatest :P). Womanizer was one of the songs that was always playing on the radio when CLK first visited me. It was like Britney haunted us every time we were in the car. It wasn't a big deal because it was so catchy.



Was kinda awkward when CLK tried singing it..haha. Honestly I love her sexy videos :D don't you? :D

Movie Date: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

My normal movie date got married last November so I had to find someone else to go to the movies with me. We changed dates a couple time but finally got to watch the movie. I was skeptical because some people didn't like the movie and some loved it. I was assuming that people didn't like the movie because they have not watched LOTR but then again I might be wrong.

The movie didn't seem so long but it was 169 minutes that's almost 3 hours and it flew by fast. I didn't think I would get to see Frodo or Gollum but they were in it briefly. I think the movie is pretty awesome...and I thought they were gonna show how the ring was made but they didn't. It just revealed how Bilbo got the ring.

And Saruman...I can't stand to see him in it because you know, he turned evil in LOTR. It was just weird to see him being nice and all. XD I absolutely love the dwarfs! They reminds me of the 7 dwarfs from Snow White but their names are much more cooler, and it could turn into a tongue twister. I think their story was pretty awesome...and I was hoping to see Legolas in the first movie too. I am pretty sure he will turn up soon.




For the longest time I was stalking YouTube for the trailer for this movie and when it was out I couldn't stop watching. :D I remember watching LOTR with friends and queuing up at the movies for so long because the tickets were sold out. We had to resort to plan B. I don't know if others did what we did but it was effective and pretty funny. :P

I remember it was a school night and we wanted to watch the movie the second week it was out but it was all sold out, we went twice and was disappointed. The day we went there was this very long line outside the ticket counter and my friends didn't want to wait any longer so he called the counter to book tickets for the next show, from the line. Let's just say we got our tickets 5 minutes later and everyone in front of eyes gave us daggers eyes. LOL. Even though we did get the tickets in time for the movie to start it was a full house and we had to sit like in the 5th row and it wasn't the best seat in the house but at least we got to watch the movie. And when we got out we found out one of our classmate bought tickets the day before and he was alone, and had good seats!! Should've asked him to buy tickets for us. I will never forget that movie and how awesome it was and I shared it with awesome friends.

It was sad too since I only went to watch this movie with one friend, and there was only 4 of us watching the movie. I think it was out for almost a month and they had a show every 4 hours or so and there was 3 places that was showing it I suppose I can understand why there wasn't more people watching. But still I would've watch it a couple times, just wish CLK was here to watch it with me. I am definitely gonna wait for the second movie to come out...hopefully soon!! I can't wait that long!! Just like waiting for LOTR to come out. It was torture! :P

Honestly I can't say bad things about this movie, even though some people might think it's boring, I think it is awesome. I guess I must have missed a lot of stuff in the movie...so I might have to watch it again, maybe once or twice. Sorry for rambling but I can't help it! I don't really know what to say but you know...that it was awesome :P

I don't know if I spoiled anything about the movie but I am sure everyone have watched it :D What did you think of the movie? Have you watched the hobbit or lord of the ring?

Happy Friday everyone!! Another Friday, another week goes by just as quick. This beautiful Friday I want to share a song that I just fell in love with the from the first time I heard it...I don't even remember when I first heard it but I think this song is suitable for this particular Friday.




I love the lyrics to this song, and her somewhat dreamy and raspy voice. To me this song is kinda romantic and sad at the same time. I would totally do this as a first date/dance song. :) It is kinda romantic don't you think?

Today also mark the 4th year anniversary of us. It has been 4 years and it seems just like yesterday. If you don't know CLK and I met online and we are currently in this really mind boggling and crazy LDR. I guess when you really feel comfortable with somebody and they are practically your bestfriend you are able to endure challenges and craziness for each other. Other times I and other people don't know how we manage to do it, I guess we just do. It makes times together special and I never try to take it for granted because those are hard fought times.

The last time we saw each other was new year (on skype) and the last time we said good bye, see you later was February 24th, 2011. I know our lives are not perfect, we don't always agree with each other, we don't always make each other happy, we are never there for hugs and kisses, and to keep each other company but I think this makes us stronger. And we are always crazy.

I hope we can keep this up and look forward to more good things.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope it is still Tuesday where you are :D. I am excited cause tomorrow I have my belly dancing class. The class is getting harder but that means I need more practice. ^^, Today I just want to share a picture that CLK took on his lunch break. He has a new hobby of stalking a nesting robin that made a nest under his deck. I, like you have only seen them in pictures. I think the robin's eggs are a beautiful color.

Hey peeps :) I hope everyone is doing well. So yesterday was our 3rd year anniversary and yet again we didn't get to celebrate is together, it really sucks to be in a LDR but they say absence makes the heart grows fonder. True? I think it really sucks. :P

So since we couldn't do anything together I decided to do a boyfriend tag which have been going around YouTube for awhile. I love watching tags especially boyfriend tag cause you get to meet/see the other half, that special someone is someone's life. :) Don't you think so?

We do not have a video cause it would be pretty hard to do and we are both too shy to be film for other people to see anyway but I did record the conversation for evidence purpose and in case our lawyer need to use it someday...kidding. H: 5 days from now, 3 years ago. I met your mom, she had a toothache. (LOL)

H: You have a weird obsession with...cheesy fries, definitely McDonald fries (he's exaggerating! I think it's Tabasco.)

H: Yeah, we celebrate a neutral holiday, Chinese New Year. Long tradition of not wanting to go to sleep until we can't take it anymore...when we're together. Like we're saving time.

H: Well...if it's with a car I would say when we went to the alligator farm.

H: The first thing I notice is...how well we get along. You're incredibly easy to talk to considering the nervousness and everything that's going on. (Cause he's shy and I made him talk more than me when we're together!)

So many things I am thankful for this 2011, especially all the friends I've made through my blog :). Thank you and I cherish all of you!! Hopefully our friendship will continue to flourish this coming 2012. :) I am trying very hard to blog everyday, starting tomorrow (2012 - crazy right?!).

I am thankful for all my family and friends that have been by my side, my #fruitbasket family :D (long story I am sure it is not very interesting but they are awesome girls) and my best friend for life, CLK :) He always makes me happy and laugh and make my everyday wonderful. I love you bubs!

I am thankful for being here today, to see another year go by and say hey you, you are alive and well...make the most of that. :) I am thankful for little things and blessed for all the things I have in life.

Project 365: #153 Orphan

On holidays or weekends I tend to wake up earlier than I would've like. Like yesterday for instant. I had to, HAD TO wake up to the meow of a kitten. I think I am part cat cause I am very sensitive to cats meow =___= which kinda sucks if you ask me! At 5 freakin' 30. 0__o So yeah, it was pretty dark and I checked outside the balcony and no cat, just meow or echos. I thought I was dreaming. So I tried to go to bed but...mehehehehe Facebook got the best of me. 0__o FML

Isn't it adorable?? :D This was the first picture I took before it went to sleep. You see, that cats meow I heard wasn't just me dreaming, it was real. And my mom actually called me (on my phone and we live in the same house!) and said there was a cat outside in the cold. It had been raining the whole night and this little thing was out there, in the cold. Poor thing.

After burrito wrapping it in a towel it was warm and fell asleep. A long sleep. I guess it was in shock cause 12 hours after that he went crazy and scared. It's like it just saw me for the first time. O__o Crazy cat! But now I am happy to report she is safe (nameless as of now) and warm, poop and all. Although we think she might have a broken leg(s) cause she can't walk. : ( Me is sad.

My mom said she reminded her of Jumper, RIP although she doesn't have socks and it's a SHE. =____='' Why can't it be a he?

Project 365: #152 The Missing and FALL

Hey there peeps. I have been away for too long and promise that I will make up for it. :) As you know my cat went missing 2 weeks ago. I'm sad to report that there is no good news. On the other hand, this morning I saw Kick (Jumper's mom) playing with a little mouse. I am sad to say that it did not make it but they had their moment staring at each other. It was funny, too bad I didn't have my camera with me to take some awesome video. Well I will leave you with a picture of something random I am sure. Oh better yet, fall :D at CLK's house. Beautiful I might add. Damn I wish I was there. Fall is my second favorite season next to winter. :D Yes I love winter!!! XD

The coming of a new year

Ello there mate. So yesterday was my birthday (hooray)...we or I didn't do anything special or grand if you are wondering. I just had some nice quiet me time with CLK and talked on skype (not that I can haul him anywhere...) and spent time with my babies. It was alright and........... we made pizza :D. It feels like every year we have pizza on my birthday :P. Not that I'm complaining. I love pizza! I will show you a delish pizza picture ...just because I love you guys.

Hahaha... =___='' and my mom gave me a pink hand bag. Well what do you know, it seems to fit in my go-pink theme for the month of October, but I don't really wear pink very much. I am not a big pink fan - although this one is more of a dark salmon color, deep pink I guess not those striking pink you can see from 10000 miles away. :) I will have to take a pic and show you guys.

And today is actually CLK's birthday. :D Happy birthday baby! (not that he reads my blog but it's the thought that counts :P). I thank you for being in my life and made me realize I can be a much better person inside out and for loving me for ME :D It was a huge thing to find out that our birthday was just hours apart. Since I always envy my parents (their birthdays falls on the 12th and 13th of November) for having birthdays so close together, I feel so special now. *insert cheesy comments or gagging sounds* Haha...so October is a huge birthday month for me (so is September and November...eh seems like every month after August) because all or most I should say of my friends, people I come to know recently and favorite celebrities birthdays falls in October. :D Aren't we all a special bunch? ;)

So anyone who is celebrating their birthday this month, I want to wish a very happy birthday and wonderful year ahead. May your year bring prosperity and joy and happiness. And we share breast cancer awareness month! Oh yeah~

Project 365: #141 New Strings

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

How happy am I that my violin is getting new strings??? VERY happy! It all happened when the violin somehow went out of tune cause the string were slipping (I do not know the correct term for that sorry) and my friend had to tune it. She complained that my string was rusty (yes indeed it was but they still sound good!) and said I should overhaul it (change new strings). Being a procrastinator that I am I do not know when I will swing by the music store (I have never been there) and she was nice enough to ask for a set of new strings for me. Oh I love you so deary! Now, I need these suckers on my violin.

The strings that are on the violin are the original ones (except for the A string cause it snapped years ago). It must have been bought together with it (or it may have been older) and that was almost 10 years ago or more. My dad bought it in Germany and I am very proud of it (and also CLK is half German? XD hahahahahahaha). I would love to get a new one hopefully soon, somewhere in the future. Another love for another time. (I would insert a picture of my violin but I think it has made its way into my blog one time or another. Will have to take another picture of the before and after overhaul :D).

I decided to get bangs XD and CLK said I look like a teen...ahahaha. I guess it could be a compliment. He is always telling me he does not want to be mistaken by others that he's dating a minor. Although now I don't think I can pass for a minor anymore...sob sob.

I was having a crappy weekend, and Monday. I had a fever Sunday and then my back hurts really bad. So basically I had a bad start. After getting moody and crappy with CLK, I manage to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

She: My hair feels short and bouncy...boing boing (cause I thought the bad haircut was the root of my problem...it wasn't).

He: So are you liking it more?

She: I dunno, I wish it was straighter? I wish it was naturally straighter...

He: I know...blame your parents I guess

She: I would say I'd blame it on my Javanese genes...

He: Damn the Javanese! Should've traded the v for a p :P

She: HAHAHA...then I bet then I'd wish my hair was curly..

So, ever since CLK has an Arbor day foundation membership he has been looking at trees, non-stop. They are sending him 20 trees and he is super stoked. It gets me somewhat excited too.

Project 365: #132 A slice for the road

Went to visit my sister's friend who was in Korea for a month on a study trip. I wish I went to their school, I want to go to South Korea and LA for a school trip...like seriously. I miss out a lot. :P But anyway, she made us eat a slice of carrot cheesecake before we left home. It was pretty awesome.

I need to try to make this or carrot cake cause I need to prove CLK wrong :P.

I almost missed it, and woke up at 5am to see if I could catch a glimpse. And I did! Sorry about the low quality. I want a better camera for this kind of pictures. It reminded me of the first few pictures CLK and I shared. They were of stars and moon. :) Aren't we romantic? :P
