Playlist Friday: Stacie Orrico - I Promise

Happy Friday. I have been away and I feel bad. I can't give a (good) excuse but I just had a lot on my mind. Family stuff and personal stuff, I try to cut back on internet time. You can always find me tweeting or IG-ing away though. I even cut down on Facebook, believe it?

Anyway while I was discarding things from my room (in the hope of clearing all the crap - trust me I have a lot of crap) I stumble upon stacks and stacks of CDs and DVDs I made while in college. I went through them (well just 2 for now) found old favourites and OMG! I miss them. Today one of the song I want to share with you is by Stacie Orrico.

I don't know if you remember this lady but when she came out I was like Oh-Em-Gee?! She has this sexy voice and unique look - I gotta have her album. And I did. Bought it and now I wish I had something to play it (when I was young we only had tape). I love most of her songs that I can remember. Then she just kinda disappear. I don't really know what she is up to now.




I love this song. I listened to this over and over and wish I had that someone...you know those days when I was still single and available. Such sad stories I must say. I love her look and voice...she's so pretty. Don't you think so?

I hope you guys have a great weekend. Honestly for awhile there I lost interest in blogging. That was the biggest reason and then realize all the 'friends' I've made here. I will try to get back on the blogging band wagon. I hope I keep my horses happy this time.

Playlist Friday: Bruno Mars - When I was your man

Happy Friday everyone! How was your week!? I hope it was a lot more exciting than mine. :) Lately my local radio have played this song everyday, I probably hear this song the most. And I am loving it! Honestly I do love Bruno Mars, his songs are pretty awesome, most if not all.




His songs are you know like a sad love story. I somehow can relate to this song and I just love love songs. :)  What do you think? I wish it was a little happier though. Haha.

Update:

So yesterday one of my cat didn't come home. I am still sad and checking every corner and hoping she's there. I guess no more ambush from behind the chair and corners every time I walk by. If this scenario was in a cartoon I would say there is a conspiracy theory that my other cats might be involved in murdering her. But it is not...but you never know they might be talking behind my back! *paranoid* HAHA

Playlist Friday: Beatles - She loves you

Happy Friday lovelies!! How is your week so far? I hope they are great. :) I bet everyone is looking forward to the weekends!! I am not...not really.

I missed last week playlist Friday because I was busy (and lazy :P) and tired. Starting last week I have been going to my orchestra practice non-stop and it is hardcore. We have a show coming up and we are playing mostly 60s songs - local ones. One (and only) English song we are playing is by the Beatles, she loves you. I love the Beatles :) and I love this song!!




I love most if not all of their songs and was happy this one made it to the list. :D I remember the time when the Beatles was the only thing I would listen on my music playlist. If I could pick a concert to go to, I would love to go to the Beatles concert. I think it would just be amazing~~! If only I could turn back time. :)

Playlist Friday: O Town - All or nothing

Do you remember these four 5 hunky dudes?

Confession - I listen to a lot of boybands growing up. I want to blame it on Mtv and Channel V for all the late nights of top 100 US countdowns bla bla bla... I watch those religiously, especially when Adrian was on. :D Good times, now...they show useless things. I want songs....sometimes I think when I was growing up, we were much cooler (technology-less and awesome :P).

So anyway, I could only remember the guy named Ashley Angel (because he reminds me of that show Angel, remember that?) But I love most of their songs from their 2 albums. And yes, I have one of them. Don't judge. :P




I often wonder what if all these boybands survived the apocalypse of splitting up and breakups and never broke up, I am sure life will be filled with all the Nick Carters and Justin Timberlakes of the boybands. Haha...maybe we will become hippies...who knows. There are various covers of this song, one sung by the lovely Westlife (how can I miss this?!)

Playlist Friday: Mindy Gledhill - All about your heart

Happy Friday everyone!! Another Friday, another week goes by just as quick. This beautiful Friday I want to share a song that I just fell in love with the from the first time I heard it...I don't even remember when I first heard it but I think this song is suitable for this particular Friday.




I love the lyrics to this song, and her somewhat dreamy and raspy voice. To me this song is kinda romantic and sad at the same time. I would totally do this as a first date/dance song. :) It is kinda romantic don't you think?

Today also mark the 4th year anniversary of us. It has been 4 years and it seems just like yesterday. If you don't know CLK and I met online and we are currently in this really mind boggling and crazy LDR. I guess when you really feel comfortable with somebody and they are practically your bestfriend you are able to endure challenges and craziness for each other. Other times I and other people don't know how we manage to do it, I guess we just do. It makes times together special and I never try to take it for granted because those are hard fought times.

The last time we saw each other was new year (on skype) and the last time we said good bye, see you later was February 24th, 2011. I know our lives are not perfect, we don't always agree with each other, we don't always make each other happy, we are never there for hugs and kisses, and to keep each other company but I think this makes us stronger. And we are always crazy.

I hope we can keep this up and look forward to more good things.

Playlist Friday: Hello - Lionel Richie

This year this Lionel Richie will be our theme song :) Every year it changes and last year it was Rod Steward's Have I told you lately. I love old love songs cause they are just amazing and Rod's voice is so sexy :P. Being in a LDR is hard so we gotta spice up our lives somehow right?




Although I do think this song is kinda sad but...I still love it. :) I have to say I am not a die hard Lionel fan and I might know one or two songs only haha. I am more of a Beatles fan. Are there other Lionel songs that you love that I might like that you would recommend? :)

Playlist Friday: Something about the way you look tonight - Elton John

I know technically it is not Friday but I didn't want to miss to post a playlist Friday for the final Friday of the year. I love most of Elton John's song, and this one is one of them. Every time I listen to this song it just reminds me of loved ones and makes me warm inside.




Sometimes this song makes me sad but I truly enjoy it. :) I was listening to it a couple times in the last few days and thought I should share this. :D I am sure you all know this song. 2012 is coming to an end and time just fly by so fast. I have not been a good blogger this year but I will try again next year.

Playlist Friday: Jessica Simpson - When you told me you love me

Happy Friday! Do you realize Fridays comes ever so fast every week??! It is concerning to me cause the days are just winding down too fast for my liking. I love weekends (especially the football!) but I don't like days and weeks to come knocking so fast. I need to savor the time spent with people more.

I was listening to this song most of this week, my playlist on my iPod is kind of ancient so I am reminiscing :P. It is one of my favorite song from Jessica Simpson. Trouble was I couldn't find a video for this song. I don't even know if there was ever a video. I love it still. Not to say that I am heart broken but if I ever was this song would probably make me cry buckets. Let's hope I don't have to cry buckets eh...




Jessica is one sexy lady back then, now she is a hot mama. :D I have not yet seen a picture of her baby though. Haha...but she was uber sexy back then wasn't she??! :)

Playlist Friday: Shayne Ward - Breathless

I use to listen to this song endlessly - over and over, one after another. Since Shayne is also hot and have a really sexy voice, it didn't really matter to me if I was listening to the songs 1000000 times a day. I don't know how my roommates thought of it but they never complained either. :P This is one of my favorite song. Although I am not very fond of his new music. I might have to give it a listen through again. I think I prefer his ballads :D.

Playlist Friday: Daniel Bedingfield - If you're not the one

Happy Friday everyone!! Been trying not to slack on my playlist Friday y'all. :D This week I want to share with you one of my favorite love song. Well one of my favorite :D I have a ton!

When I was in school there was a guy that I had a total crush on. Okay I must tell ya, he was not the most good looking guy on campus nor was he the hottest guy but I don't know why I had such a crush on him. My bff at the time knew about it and we would stalk him (yes! literally stalk him!! LOL). We were on the same faculty and out faculty was pretty small and at that time our campus was just starting to come together so there was no other students around, which was kinda sad cause I would totally go flirtin' around other guys from other faculties (I heard the mechanical engineering students were pretty cute!). Okay to make the story short he knew I was stalking him and his friends knew and he would sometimes smile at me. OMG! my heard would go crazy!! HAHAHA thinking about it now I feel kinda dumb. LOL.

So anyway I would listen to this song over and over again. HAHA like a love sick puppy (ok it WASN'T love obviously) but it was embarrassing when some of my housemates knew about it. :P It makes a fun story though. I think I liked him A LOT because he was tall...very tall. I think he was about 6'1". One of my guy bff would often tell me he was over 6' too and I am not swooning over him. Haha...we'll I love my bff :) he is amazing and keeps calling me 'shorty' cause I am obviously shorter than him. Hah!

But anyway enough of the silly stories. I hope you enjoy the song! Definitely is a sad love song I think. But I still love it!





p.s. Oh we never went out or anything. Which was not so bad. Did chatted with him online a couple times. Kinda turned me off. HAHAHAHA.

Happy Friday everyone!! Another Friday...time just flies. I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend. Not me though, since the guys are tearing down a wall in the living room and the house is a mess!! I want it to end although I am not looking forward to the cleaning part :P

This week I am gonna share a favorite song by the boyband Blue. I don't think they are together anymore but I love this song. :) I use to listen to it a lot when I am feeling sad... I don't know why. XD

It's playlist Friday! Do you watch American Idol? The last Idol I watched was when David Cook was crooning at me from the television. Hahaha...Well as you all know Heejun was voted off. He was one of my favorite. He also sung one of my favorite songs, a song for you.



This song is one of those song that you listen to and cried and listen to over and over again and it makes you feel better. I love listening to this, every version I could find. I am like that. Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been in a rut. There are so many things I want to post but I haven't gotten to editing the photos for them. But....I do have this song stuck in my head that I'd like to share.




Ever since I saw the proposal of Tim and Audrey here, this song have been stuck in my head. XD The proposal is crazy sweet!!! It got so many attention from all over the world. So happy for them both!

I love this song, but didn't know it was from the Twilight movie. :P

I was blog surfing (I do this a lot) and came across this one particular blog that have a music player. I usually don't like having music blasting through my speakers but this particular blogger have some awesome music on. One was a song by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. :) It made me very happy. Although that's not the song I want to share with you. This song, I just fell in love with. It's something about the music in this era that makes me feel loved, in love and dreamy. :)




Don't you feel like you're at a restaurant having a nice romantic candle light dinner for two, lights dim and then come the dancing. That's how I feel. I am definitely putting this on my wedding song list :P haha. Enjoy ~
