New Year celebration Part II: Birthdays

Two days after our family new year celebration we got a call from my granduncle saying that he is having another party for families at his house. We were wondering if it was just an extension of the new year celebration on Tuesday. No fireworks this time though only good company, food and karaoke sessions. Hahaha which I feel is a must at all these parties. We found out it was also my aunt, uncle and their son's birthday. So it was like a triple whammie. So far new year is not good for me. I need to start eating healthy but since it was a family thing I will give it a slide.

There was a lot more families that turned up I think because the next day is a weekend. It feels like the weekend comes twice for me. So far 2014 is good, I need to be more positive for the next 361 days to come.

16 Bottle || Photo Challenge

Or bottles in this case...I like to group things in 3s or pairs. I love the bottle shaped like the violin...or cello, however you see it. Definitely something I ant for myself :D. I do not know what was in it or maybe it was just a vase but it could be a bottle right?? Lol...the right one is definitely a bottle though. I am so glad I don't collect bottles :P

15 Outside the window || Photo Challenge

Sorry for the late posts. I have been kinda busy since my parents wasn't around and they just came back yesterday. I tried to post them on the day but I think I am 2 days behind. :) Also I think I am slightly under the weather. Been losing sleep and getting up early and doing all the work...it has taken a toll on me. I hope this sneezing/coughing/sore throat go away soon.

Taken outside my mom's window. There use to be a bigger bush next to this small tree (?)/plant but I don't know what happened to it. There was a bird nest in it and I took a couple of awesome baby bird pictures :).

13. 4 o'clock || Photo Challenge

I couldn't find my original photo so I decided to post this instead. wWe went to watch Pacific Rim this weekend and it was pretty good. Wayy better than after earth. I need to do my movie date post. We got home at 4am. So that is my 4 o'clock theme :P Have you seen Pacific Rim yet?

12 A Bad Habit || Photo Challenge

No reading manga is not a bad habit..but procrastinating is! I do it A LOT! I know it is so bad....and then sometimes I regret doing it. It is something I had to change...I need help! I was suppose to be preparing dinner for my sister and I but I was reading the new episodes of Fairy Tail..hehe.

Day 10 & 11 || Photo Challenge

I forgot to post day 10 yesterday, I was too tired from picking up and dropping off. So day 10 is smooth.

Day 10 - Smooth. There was so much thing I wanted to take a picture of but the day was winding down and I just thought the car drive smoothly and the drive was smooth so...hence the picture of the steering wheel, which I might add feels pretty smooth too.

Day 11 is 'I wore this!'.

Sorry for the blurry photo but these were taken from my Instagram so...yeah, and the camera of my phone is pretty crappy. I think I may need to upgrade, ahem ahem. LOL So today decided to wear my NYX Indian pink, which I don't remember buying. I have worn this a couple of time. I love the NYX round lipsticks but this is not a must have. I think I am more of a matte person. I don't like shimmery lipsticks but the color is nice. And I wanted to wear this dragonfly earrings that was a birthday present from CLK's mom :). I feel so loved. I should remember to take another photo with my camera next time.

9 Three things || Photo Challenge

3 things I don't take off well prior to this photo :P I have been using them for almost a decade so yeah. I don't take jewellery off because I tend to forget to put them back on. The gold bracelet is from my mom on one of my birthday, the silver ring was given to me by my sister on one birthday and the other one is a toe ring. I don't know why I wear a toe ring but I love it.

Funny story, I spent a night at a friend a few years ago and her mom thought I was married cause I was using this toe ring. In Indian culture, you only wear toe ring when you are married. My friend laugh and said it was just an accessory. :D

Day 7 & 8 || Photo Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!! I wanted to post day 7 photo yesterday but I couldn't find it online so I had to wait till today to post it :) Day 7 was 'Where you are'. So here is the photo I took.

I don't think this needs a lot of explaining. :D Golden arches restaurant. My brother was so excited to go because he wanted to try their samurai burger (I didn't get a picture because he ate it all up before I could). He said it was the most delicious McD burger he ever ate. I don't really like beef burger so I had their chicken burger, almost every time. Although I wish he waited to eat the curly fries with me! I love curly fries!!! I love McDonald's fries as a whole, even when they are soggy. Especially when they are soggy. Hehe...I know I am weird but if you have soggy fries you can give 'em to me. Thank you very much.

Day 8 was 'Path'. I wish I was at the park or in a magnificent castle or something so I could take a photo of a beautiful path but all I had was the path to my dining room :P.

This would be the view my cats see every time they run pass this little hallway. It is nothing magical but when you get on the ground you feel like sleeping. It is very nice down there. Haha. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I just spent my weekend with my grandparents who came back from their holiday with my uncle and his wife to Langkawi. So nothing exciting really. Oh and I got a big brim hat from my aunt so I can use it to the beach next time! Yay! I will have to take a picture of that next time.

6 Fave Smell || Photo Challenge

So every time I wear this out people always ask me, 'What are you wearing?' and every time I say 'Bondage' they look at me weirdly. LOL. Come on, you gotta love the name. And yes I was sucked into this because of the name but when I smelled it, it was love at first smell. Can't you see how much I love it? I have 3 bottles.

My favorite would have to be the original Bondage by Jean Yves. It smells sweet but not candy sweet and it doesn't give me a headache. I can't describe it and I wish I had the box and another back up. It seems like it is hard to find this perfume these days. I've had it since I started college...that's like a decade ago. This is my second bottle. And then I fell in love with Bondage extreme. Yes, why not go extreme bondage right? LOL Bondage musk is pretty good too. The scent is not as strong as the other two.

I dread using it because I don't want to run out of it. The closest thing to Bondage and I found this by accident is Poême from Lancôme. It does not smell the same but as you wear it the smell kind of fades and the scent is a little like Bondage. I like it. Definitely one I would ask CLK to purchase for my hantaran. Hehe. So what is your favorite smell or favorite scents?

4 Red, white or blue || Photo challenge

Happy 4th of July everyone - who is in the US. :) Hope you guys all had a good day!! I loved reading about all the posts and looking at all the pictures about 4th of July on Instagram. So day 4 is red, white or blue here is a picture I came up with.

I obviously is on a red frenzy lately and I am loving red lippies!! I am on the hunt for more to build my collection. :D Of course I had all 3 colors in the picture...hence why the lone blue-ish polish in the corner. Hehe... I hope you all had a good day and weekend coming up!

2 Shoes || Photo Challenge

Today is day 2 and I took a picture the night before that I loved and wanted to post it as day 2 and I also decided to take another picture on day 2 itself.

Hung out at my favorite place Bing! with my friend the night before and I just love the ambiance there so had to take a picture of my shoe (it is new and a wedge flat - my first that I own). You can't tell but my shoe is light yellow and my pants is red lol.

And this was taken during the day, its 2 pair of shoes I guess you can call it. :P They belong to my dad and uncle and they wore it in the 70s I think. You know it reminds me of That 70s show, and they did wear bell bottoms with these! I want to wear this someday...cause they both fit me. Maybe wedding? Ooo that would be interesting wouldn't it?
