Day 7 & 8 || Photo Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!! I wanted to post day 7 photo yesterday but I couldn't find it online so I had to wait till today to post it :) Day 7 was 'Where you are'. So here is the photo I took.

I don't think this needs a lot of explaining. :D Golden arches restaurant. My brother was so excited to go because he wanted to try their samurai burger (I didn't get a picture because he ate it all up before I could). He said it was the most delicious McD burger he ever ate. I don't really like beef burger so I had their chicken burger, almost every time. Although I wish he waited to eat the curly fries with me! I love curly fries!!! I love McDonald's fries as a whole, even when they are soggy. Especially when they are soggy. Hehe...I know I am weird but if you have soggy fries you can give 'em to me. Thank you very much.

Day 8 was 'Path'. I wish I was at the park or in a magnificent castle or something so I could take a photo of a beautiful path but all I had was the path to my dining room :P.

This would be the view my cats see every time they run pass this little hallway. It is nothing magical but when you get on the ground you feel like sleeping. It is very nice down there. Haha. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I just spent my weekend with my grandparents who came back from their holiday with my uncle and his wife to Langkawi. So nothing exciting really. Oh and I got a big brim hat from my aunt so I can use it to the beach next time! Yay! I will have to take a picture of that next time.

Have a great Monday everyone!!

Movie Date: The Croods

It has been awhile since I posted a post about movies. Not that I have not been watching any, some of them were just meh in my opinion. For instance I have seen The Croods around when they came out but I didn't think I would like the 'caveman' story. It just reminded me of that movie with Jack Black... I can't remember the name of it but yeah, it didn't look really interesting. So then someone told me that The Croods was awesome. Well it took me this long to watch it. And I tell you what, it is awesome!! I mean it doesn't take a lot for me to love animation so...I love this!!! Not as much as Finding Nemo or Despicable me but I like it enough to say I laugh (a lot!) and I felt sad...I didn't cry though. It was just awesome.

In my book I would probably watch it again :D (it is high up there on the list of my must watch!).

I love Douglas and Belt (tan tan taaaa) and the big cat!! Ok I think he is suppose to be like a sabertooth or something but he is so cute!!

If you like carefree movies and love to watch it with the family this is it! I think the little ones will love this, I mean I am not little and I still love this! If you are looking for something complicated this might not be it but you could still watch it and see if you like it. :D I didn't know who was the actors behind the characters but as I watch the credits towards the end of the movie surprise, surprise. Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds and Nicholas Cage are the voices behind the main characters. Score!

In my opinion this is an awesome lazy weekend movie. Definitely would watch this again with my man...I think he would enjoy it. :D Lazy weekend for me peeps!!

Playlist Friday: Hello July! Kat de Luna - Run the show

Hello again! I think this post might be up on Saturday but I want to share a song I have been listening to a lot lately and of course love to dance to this song.

I love this lady. :) I love her dance songs and they really make you want to get up on the dance floor. :) Keeping this short I am going to go hang out with my grandparents. Have a lovely weekend every one!!

Long weekend Part 1

Saturday nights are usually reserved for my creative side. Meaning I have to spend a few hours every Saturday night meeting up with my musically talented friends. :) You know it says a lot about these people. We sacrifice Saturday nights (that we can spend with friends going shopping or going to the movies) for our orchestra practice. It's fun and there are pros to going other than expanding our creative minds and musical knowledge. We get $$. But of course that's not very important. :) We get to attend shows and functions that not a lot of people get to go to, and free of charge of course. Then again we do get to sit on stage and try to madly play tunes, and pieces and not screw up. XD

Well nothing exciting happened really. Some of the 'key players' were away on a show for a function and we were left there, just us, mere mortals and not the "key players". Although saying 'key players' really gets me off because well we're kinda like the 'leftovers'. Hurhurhur~~ Sad but anyway we did pretty good. Of course we just played some Christmas songs, which I love! Me and a friend of mine, Nacy, had to lead the 2nd violin. I was like OMFG-Eva! Eva and I have been going and playing in the orchestra for about 12 years and I think we started together too. She looked at me and laugh.

I asked, "You know when was the last time I lead?"

Eva, "Yes when you were playing the 3rd violin."

Laughs. It was fun though. We did play Schubert 'Unfinished' symphony No 8.

Ok we aren't that good but we did okay. :D I have a feeling that our conductor wants us to play this for our 18th December function =___=''. Needing to practice now. I have pictures to show but it is currently residing in my camera and are refusing to make its appearance (battery died :P) so I will have to continue this a lil later. :D Enjoy the piece by Schubert. I really like the song.

What I did this weekend

Most weekends I just do nothing. Literally :) and I love doing nothing. ^__^

I woke up late.

I played with my cats.

I went to practice. (Yes! I have been lazy most nights, but I was determine!)

Gossip with my beloved friend, who is away in Aussie (come back soon!).

Sunday I ate yummy food, especially the infamous laksa Sarawak!

Watched CSIs (triple Sunday = NY-Miami-LV)

via news.cornell.edu - I am still loving Gil Grissom :D

Watched football (we won, woohoo!!).

And blogged :D. I had to come up with some interesting to share with you guys, ;)

So, what did you do this weekend??

Long weekend part I

Since it's wayyyy too late for me to write anything long, or productive, I have pictures instead. :D Yay (doing a happy lil Irish dance)! I had a long weekend, like loooooooooooooooooong weekend, with little sleep and long drive that almost got us lost cause I kinda spaced-out while driving.

Seriously, I kept saying 'I didn't see the intersection' as my excuse and before a span of 12-hours have passed, seems like the "whole" family knew about our 'almost-got-lost-getting-home-journey' story. Seriously, no kidding. So pictures it is:

I love kitties. Cats. I love kitty cats. :D And I know I said I was gonna post some up, so here are some!!! :) They are...err...I think 2/3 of the whole gang, promise I will post more up. :D

This is Ollie. He is a big boy. He is a naughty boy. And he is also a horny lil bugger. But he was (is...is still) my first baby :). Don't want to make him feel bad now do we. Oh did I mention he is a scardy cat? Yeah he is a scardy cat (ahaha, funny I know). He is ultimately scared of the vacuum cleaner. If I was a wee-lil cat I would be scared of the big, yellow, noisy vacuum cleaner too.

This is a picture of Ollie (top) and Charlie (bottom) having some good time. (Ok, Charlie likes Ollie (no he is not gay) and likes to lick him and then bite his ears, I suppose like two brothers playing football, cat-style. And Ollie tolerates this. Pretty cute ey?)

I introduce you, Charlie. Cute ey? This is my (current) love of my life. Shhhhh don't tell CLK. >:D Ahahaha... He said that "he's trying to take away my woman", I feel so special. He gives good massages, on your protruding belly and anywhere he could find that suits his needs. Really.

And this is what a pregnant cat sleeps like. Isn't she adorable? That is Simba. Not related to The Lion King Simba.

This picture was taken last week (I think). I don't remember when, but I know I was out watching The Proposal with my friend, and we walked along the Waterfront and I took this, cause I wanted to see if it is as beautiful as they say it is, and IT is. Breathtaking. Altho I wish I was walking with someone else, hand-in-hand. =_=''' but the view was great. :D

The state building, bathed with lights.

And I just have to take a picture of this. The golden arches restaurant being renovated. At least I think it is, to vamp it up. I hope it is cause it sure need a lot of renovation, cause I've been to a lot of McDonald's that are wayyyyyyyyy cooler than this one. Like totally. I have to show you my McDonald's picture collection. CLK said it's like I eat, breath, sleep McDonald's. :P Ok, he doesn't say that exactly but said that I do hang out there a lot. Like "hang out". XD

Ok I realized that 'those' are not what I did last weekend (but the McD pic is and then realized that this is what I did LAST weekend, and it is weekend already. Life. *sigh*) but this is what I did do during (last) weekend. My brother and I went to watch G.I. Joe. Which was kinda disappointing. The movie was good, but it lack something. I do have to say I liked Transformers: The Rise of the Fallen (is that what the title was, dang I forgot) much better. More realistic. Yeah. That's what it is. More believable. :) Good, don't get me wrong. But I guess Channing Tatum (spell check?) really sealed the deal. *drools* (But that can't beat a nekkid Ryan Reynolds *drools more*). And while waiting for the movie, I took pictures of the city. As much of the city that's viewable.

Before the movie (which was spontaneous) we went to my cousins' second wedding reception. They are a cute couple, altho I didn't manage to get a lot of pictures (cause I came late) and I was just in time to hear them call all the relatives on the guys side that wanted to take pictures with the new(old)lyweds. I was not a very willing participant but I smiled for the camera anyway :D, best I could do for being late.

A picture with someone's grandfather (I think it was either the bride's or the groom's, well duh!).

My cousins (they are 5 siblings and all guys and one is to be married in a few months time)

Me and my sister, CLK was like "Oh you got a picture with your sister, very rare" :P ahahaha. Indeed.

This boy (I think he was 8 or something) sung at the wedding, and he was GOOD. He even sang songs I don't even know existed. Chubby and cute. :D

Ok that was what I did on Saturday. I got lost on Sunday, remember? That story later. I need sleep. It's 305am (local time, 8+EMT - is that how they write it?). Good night. *psssttt, I did say I didn't want to write a long post right, this turns out pretty long tho*
