Happy Anniversary sweet pea ♥♥♥~

Hey peeps :) I hope everyone is doing well. So yesterday was our 3rd year anniversary and yet again we didn't get to celebrate is together, it really sucks to be in a LDR but they say absence makes the heart grows fonder. True? I think it really sucks. :P

So since we couldn't do anything together I decided to do a boyfriend tag which have been going around YouTube for awhile. I love watching tags especially boyfriend tag cause you get to meet/see the other half, that special someone is someone's life. :) Don't you think so?

We do not have a video cause it would be pretty hard to do and we are both too shy to be film for other people to see anyway but I did record the conversation for evidence purpose and in case our lawyer need to use it someday...kidding. Got you there didn't I? :P And I did force get permission from CLK to use his answers on my blog.

Q: Where did we meet?
H: The airport (Is that a valid answer?)

Q: Where was our first date?
H: Hmmm...this is gonna be a tough one because the entire time I thought was our first date. We went to the mall..and we took picture of that boat, when it's all lit up.

Q:What was your first impression of me?
H: My first impression of you is that I thought you were cute. First impression when we met - short but you're still cute.

Q: When did you meet the family?
H: 5 days from now, 3 years ago. I met your mom, she had a toothache. (LOL)

Q: Who said I love you first and where?
H: Me, it was in the car.

Q: Do I have any weird obsessions, if so - what?
H: You have a weird obsession with...cheesy fries, definitely McDonald fries (he's exaggerating! I think it's Tabasco.)

Q: How long have we been together?
H: 3 years

Q: Do you have a tradition with your gf/bf?
H: Yeah, we celebrate a neutral holiday, Chinese New Year. Long tradition of not wanting to go to sleep until we can't take it anymore...when we're together. Like we're saving time.

Q: What was our first road trip?
H: Well...if it's with a car I would say when we went to the alligator farm.

Q: What was the first thing you noticed about me?
H: The first thing I notice is...how well we get along. You're incredibly easy to talk to considering the nervousness and everything that's going on. (Cause he's shy and I made him talk more than me when we're together!)

Q: What is my favorite restaurant?
H: Sadly I think it's McDonalds (so not true... XD)

Q: What do we argue about the most?
H: We don't argue much the closest thing we come to argue about is probably marriage and religion (we debate but not argue most of the time (: )

Q: Who wears the pants in the relationship?
H: Me (hah)

Q: If I am watching tv what am I watching?
H: Now, it's how I met your mother, a couple years ago it would be friends, with Person of interest or CSIs (I watch Bones and Supernatural too!)

Q: What is one food I do not like?
H: He said 'I don't remember you rejecting food' (I do not like marshmallow! and he hates olives).

Q: What drink do I order when we go out to eat?
H: You always order tea (iced lemon tea and he always have coffee when he's with me).

Q: What size shoe do I wear?
H: 7 (lucky educated guess).

Q: What is my favorite kind of sandwich?
H: Grilled cheese or tuna (grilled tuna cheese :D and he likes grilled cheese).

Q: What is one talent I have?
H: You play the violin.

Q: What would I eat everyday if I could?
H: Pizza (he would have laksa...so would I).

Q: What is my favorite cereal?
He has never seen me eat cereal but if I have to choose it's Kellogg cornflakes. I usually have oatmeal with dried cranberries and raisins :)

Q: What is my favorite music?
H: We both listen to a wide variety of music :)

Q: What is my favorite sports team?
H: Arsenal...even a bum on the side of the road knows that.

Q: What is my eye color?
H: Brown

Q: Who is my best friend?
H: Me

Q: What is something you do that I wish you didn't?
H: Drinking (and most probably nagging. He hates it when I ignore him when I get angry.)

Q: Where am I from?
H: I don't remember the name of the state (Sarawak. He is from Wisconsin born in Waukesha.)

Q: What kind of cake would you bake me on my birthday?
H: Cheesecake (cause I go crazy over them once upon a time :P).

Q: Do I play any sports?
H: No the closest you get is badminton or watching soccer (He plays volleyball.)

Q: What can I spend hours doing?
H: Talking to me (which is true).

Q: If I could live anywhere, where would it be?
H: I would have to guess Ireland (there was an article I read about Ireland I think it was the best place to live or something I don't remember).

Actually listening to the audio again made me laugh, it's so funny :D

Happy anniversary, I ♥♥♥ you~

Project 365: #65 I lost a friend

Today I lost a friend. (pause for effect) No nothing tragic or anything :D I am happy its just losing 'a friend' and not actually losing someone to a greater being. Am I suppose to be happy about it? The little me inside screaming "OMG thank you!" but the bigger and more mature me goes "hmmm what went wrong?" I guess there are some things that I would change if I could but I guess I didn't and I couldn't. I think everyone would be happy from now on... let's hope everyone is happy from now on. :) Like a wise friend of mine said, don't regret what happened yesterday, just face tomorrow with a smile and everything will be alright. :) (Ok he didn't exactly said that but something like that. I just made it fancier :P.)

So...I guess I am a lil upset not much, I am still smiling. I still have friends who loves me and family who loves me and most of all a man that still loves me no matter, sooooo this is just a minor set back. You lose people in life but you gain a lot more. :) Cheers to that.

Project 365: #5 The Tarot

I totally forgot to take pictures of the tarot cards =__=''

The lover - those are dragon fruit balls :D

*Sorry for the below par pictures* My cousin and I wanted to go to the Tarot Cafe which is next to Bing!. We go to Bing! all the time but she wanted to try something different. Personally I love Bing!. The food, the drinks...ahh yummmm. :) The Tarot cafe is interesting. The food is okay-ish but the drinks are...interesting. :D (Picture above.) They are named after the tarot cards, which I find very interesting. They have a selection of local dish, Japanese dish and some Korean dish. Personally I think the Japanese food we had Kensaku was nicer. :) Just IMO.  But definitely will be back to try more. :D

(FYI Bing! is also a cafe, more like Starbucks and sort :) I have pictures, maybe in the next post :D)

What we did on Thanksgiving

WARNING: Disgustingly Mouth-watering, food pictures ahead.

So before I forget and all these awesome food pictures gets stored behind other folders and collecting cyber dust, I should at least entertain you with disgustingly, yummylicious pictures so you will be tempted to go out to the nearest Japanese restaurant and try to eat their unagi, which we know is Japanese eel (is it Japanese eel or just eel?) and not a state of awareness that was said by Ross Geller who we all know is Monica Geller's brother from Friends and if you don't know that than I pity you and you should go and find that episode on netflix or go to your friends or your friend's girlfriend and borrow it from her because I know you know she have it because we all know how much everybody love F.R.I.E.N.D.S and then you would and could probably share this silent joke between us. :D I was watching Power Puff Girls and I like Mojo jojo XD. I don't watch it every time it comes on just happen to watch this one episode.

Ok here goes :D.

5 o'clock traffic. Then we went to this Korean ice cream shop. :)

Fi came back from Cambodia and bought us Cambodian silk scarfs...we ♥♥♥♥ it very much!

Then we went to Kensaku, a Japanese restaurant Fi and I spotted on our night search for this particular Korean store.

My fail attempt at "unagi" face... XD

Tea :D hot and cold. Then the spread of food. You'd think that 10 people ate that :P.

Oh this is Kimchi...I know at a Japanese restaurant? lol

Promotion :P So we ♥♥♥♥ all the food, it was yummy-licious!! :D And we are tempted to go again!! :D It was pretty windy and it rained that night, kinda feel like fall, and it was Thanksgiving, so we were thankful for friends to share the special moment. ♥♥♥♥

A night of lights :) and tons of food XD

Warning: Pictures!! ;)

So I have never celebrated Deepavali at home (where my parents live) because I was always away in school when the festival of lights occurs. So this year when my friend called me up and invited me to her house to have some food and rekindle our lost friendship I was skeptical. You would think I was pretty excited huh? Well I was, I just didn't know it until I actually was in her presence. :)

CLK told me to go and don't make excuses. I tend to make excuses when I feel anxious before meeting someone or thrown in a situation I don't know I can handle. He persuade forced me to go and said that I will have a good time. And I did. :) And I am glad I went!!

Me and my friend Usha were (and still are!) good friends when I was a senior in high school and after school we lost touch. She went to a different school than I was and well then we didn't have cellphones to keep in touch (nor Facebook). So I remember the last time I saw her (and it was by pure coincidental!) was when I was out at the mall with a friend and she was out with her then bf (now husband!) I think that was 7 years ago~~ Wow, time flies.

Earlier this year I bumped into her (and literally bumped into her!) and a friend at a mall where I had to go to get my glasses. Boy we were so happy and just hugged each other and laugh and can't believe we ACTUALLY bumped into each other after so long. I have mention to my mom that I was thinking about her and voila! there she is! :D You can't tell how happy I was (maybe you can ^__^). She told me she got married end of last year to her then boyfriend and they had been together for 9 years! :D I was really genuinely happy for her.

So last night when I saw her I was a lil surprised to see that she was 7 months pregnant!! ^__^ And was pretty excited too. Ok maybe not surprised, but to think it was 7 months ago that I met her was a lil disturbing, where have all the time gone? One think that hit me is though is that all of my besties are either pregnant or gave birth already!! Crazy huh? Makes me feel so old :P. I will do a post of babies when I get to see them in person ;). Here are some pictures from last night:

Of course there are food and stuff!!

and Indian delicacies :D

My beautiful friend <3

I had a wonderful night last night. Meeting new people and getting in touch with a very good friend. I can't wait to hang out with you again!! Soon ^_~.
