Project 365: #69 Sanga

This picture is pretty old. Like say a month? If you can check the date on the pictures, it was taken after my recent trip to KL and the night I fell ill. Yes the mysterious night. Really unfortunate I couldn't follow these girls to Senzo and waste my night away. Instead I went home and fell asleep. 0_o

Just sharing some pictures because...that's what I do share pictures :P. Sanga is a Japanese restaurant that is located in town, which is next to the Avon store. Although to my unawareness there is also a vegetarian restaurant next to the Avon store =___='' that is really popular that sometimes you can't even get a seat to eat!! And I tell ya, I do love vegetarian restaurants since I can eat whatever I want!! Be it fish, chicken and pork. Yes they have vegetarian meat and pork :P cute eh? It's all tofu!! :D Don't worry when I have time and the place isn't packed!! - I will go there and check out the food.

LOL the last picture was bad...I wanted to take the picture but she wont stop moving :P

Project 365: #66 The archive of lost pictures

These pictures were taken a week after my vacay, when I was in the height of my sickness. I was sick for 9 days, I think it's the longest I have been sick in awhile and the first of 2011. Lucky me eh? I was hanging out with L, J's sister. I never really hung out with her before but after that night, I think we had some things in common and she's uber fun to hang out with too. :)

We went to The Club, a lounge and they had a live band there, who happened to be her friends. Great voices I might add.

Then we ordered drinks, a mocktail and cocktail. I had the mocktail because I don't drink :)

I was skeptical because it was green and there were cucumber in it. It tasted too much of cucumber and a hint of green apple and celery. I wish the green apple taste would over power the cucumber because I hate cucumber!!

And this one seriously smelled like cough syrup, err not very pleasant I tell ya.

Aqua Marine Cocktail & Forest Green Mocktail

Overall it was a fun night, after getting home that night I got sick - for another 4 days!

Project 365: #59 OMGgaihfaihdfoidhfi

Ok I realized I am 10 days behind. 10 DAYS! =___='' I feel bad..and I have been a bad blogger *spank self*

~~ A ton of pictures, thank you! ~~

So in realizing I am behind...way behind...I am going to post pictures of food. :D Aww come on, everyone love food pictures :P Hehehe..I am still wondering why this isn't a food blog. :P So here goes. We went to this pretty cute restaurant, Delicious. The food was pretty delicious not OMFGdelicious!!! :P They did have 'seriously-good-cheeseburger' or something that CLK ordered. I totally forgot the actual name of it but they guarantee the cheeseburger was delicious...and it was pretty decent.

Now for the food...yummers~

The seriously delicious cheeseburger (?)

Shepard pie, now I gotta make this again!! It was good :D

And my chicken burger, I think

Some drinks, mine is the apple juice :)

Then we went bowling. Well we went bowling after we played a game of pool. It was my first time and it did not go good. :P But I had fun and well I need practice. I really want a pool table now, like seriously. Babe, get a pool table please. Thank you.

Star Wars stuff thingy...got a picture with the lights on :D

The last time I bowled was when I was 11 years old like eons ago!! So this was the first time I have bowled in more than 10 years!! =___= And I sucked! XD I need more bowling time. More bowling please!!

A night of lights :) and tons of food XD

Warning: Pictures!! ;)

So I have never celebrated Deepavali at home (where my parents live) because I was always away in school when the festival of lights occurs. So this year when my friend called me up and invited me to her house to have some food and rekindle our lost friendship I was skeptical. You would think I was pretty excited huh? Well I was, I just didn't know it until I actually was in her presence. :)

CLK told me to go and don't make excuses. I tend to make excuses when I feel anxious before meeting someone or thrown in a situation I don't know I can handle. He persuade forced me to go and said that I will have a good time. And I did. :) And I am glad I went!!

Me and my friend Usha were (and still are!) good friends when I was a senior in high school and after school we lost touch. She went to a different school than I was and well then we didn't have cellphones to keep in touch (nor Facebook). So I remember the last time I saw her (and it was by pure coincidental!) was when I was out at the mall with a friend and she was out with her then bf (now husband!) I think that was 7 years ago~~ Wow, time flies.

Earlier this year I bumped into her (and literally bumped into her!) and a friend at a mall where I had to go to get my glasses. Boy we were so happy and just hugged each other and laugh and can't believe we ACTUALLY bumped into each other after so long. I have mention to my mom that I was thinking about her and voila! there she is! :D You can't tell how happy I was (maybe you can ^__^). She told me she got married end of last year to her then boyfriend and they had been together for 9 years! :D I was really genuinely happy for her.

So last night when I saw her I was a lil surprised to see that she was 7 months pregnant!! ^__^ And was pretty excited too. Ok maybe not surprised, but to think it was 7 months ago that I met her was a lil disturbing, where have all the time gone? One think that hit me is though is that all of my besties are either pregnant or gave birth already!! Crazy huh? Makes me feel so old :P. I will do a post of babies when I get to see them in person ;). Here are some pictures from last night:

Of course there are food and stuff!!

and Indian delicacies :D

My beautiful friend <3

I had a wonderful night last night. Meeting new people and getting in touch with a very good friend. I can't wait to hang out with you again!! Soon ^_~.

What I did on my birthday

Warning picture heavy!!

So my birthday was pretty quiet, it was rainy and moody too in the morning. I spent part of the morning and afternoon on Skype with CLK, cause we're just awesome like that :P. It was pretty nice and serene, and I planned what I wanted to make for my mom, sister and brother. :D

I made pizza, it's taste better than it looked trust me. XD And I made a dessert like cake, with chocolate sauce and sweet Marry crackers.

pizza with chips XD

Then my uncle and his gf came over to take me out for dinner at a Thai restaurant but I insisted that they have some pizza with us, so Thai dinner would have to be postponed for next time, yay!!! I want some Tom Yam.

Definitely enjoying my pizza :D it makes me happy ^__^

My pizza cake - hey I am happy with pizza and no cake XD

Changed cause she wanted me to wear a dress <3

my favorite, can't have pizza without it!

Love these pics when we try to take a mirror pic, mostly fail XD

Love this butterfly ring she bought for AUD5 =__='' I want!

Mouth watering late night supper :D

After a long walk through the mall, window shopping (looking at accessories and books) we went for supper. Yeah after that pizza, we still have tons of room for more Italian :D. Lasagna and brownie, with whipped cream. Talk about tons of fat =___='' but who cares it was my birthday!! XDD Originally they wanted to take me out for a Thai dinner, but I surprised them with pizza instead so Thai took a rain check :D Hehehe, oh my tom yam, we will be reunited!! Need to check out that place so I can bring CLK for his post-birthday dinner when he comes. :)

See how "happy" I was? (Literally stuffed o.O)

Thank you for a great birthday, and I get to spend it with people I love~

p.s And CLK's birthday was just within 24 hours! How cool is that!! :D

Peter Korbel

Last Thursday, me, Juli and her parents went to our first SONS concert. I mean literally it was my first concert sitting in the audience and not trying to keep up with the conductor. I was not sitting there under the hot spot light trying to keep in tempo so I wouldn't mess up or play catch up with the pieces. It actually felt nice (and sleepy!). I was sleepy because I had very little sleep the night before...and not because the orchestra was boring. :D I was a satisfied audience. Altho there was some minor ufff-ness that I wished they would've fixed at the interval. The Germany guess guitarist, Peter Korbel was indeed amazing but his pieces was so muffed that I couldn't hear it clearly. Either that or that they did not amplified the sound coming from his guitar. I think that was one of the downside of the concert. But believe me, the orchestra improved 100% from our concert last year. And trust me, last year wasn't good...we messed up twice =___=''.

So here are some of the pictures I took (from my seat cause I was lazy to get up from my ass and since we had front row seats, I was happily stuck to the chair :P)
