Muse

Saturday morning I woke up after a restless night (talking to CLK and sleeping at the same time) and muse came to see me (not the band, altho if they did come that would've been AWESOME!). I wrote this in a course of 30 minutes:

it was cold,
the bed beside me yet i felt warm.
i woke up to the cold rainy day
but i feel the sun, shine,
i sit alone most times but i dont feel lonely,
people tell me i laugh to myself but i know you are there beside me,
everyday i awake to the thought of how great we are together,
you are always that someone that keeps me flying and that left me smiling,
and long ago i realized
i love you ...

Muse don't ever leave me...

More kitty pictures

I just want to share some kitty pictures I have accumulated throughout the weeks (months, years?). Ok, not years...but maybe months. Since I just let go Happy Feet, a few of my female cats gave birth. Yeah you heard me, a FEW. A few meaning a couple, meaning exactly 3 cats. 3 FREAKIN' CATS! But I just lost a lil kitten a few days ago. I guess the mother wasn't paying attention to it like not giving it milk and just isolating it from it's other 2 sibling kittens. How CRUEL! Maybe it was sick from the day it was born...but I am glad it died. I am over my head...with cats!!! Like seriously. I just entertain you with some pictures. :)

My lil Sunflower

One of the many pictures I have of Happy Feet and Sunflower...they were so happy together.

I'll share more pictures when I remember where I saved them. :)

Piece of the week: Camille Saint-Saens

This week I have a cute little long piece to share. It is so cute :D. They even tell me before we started playing. :D So listen to my pick this week. It is a complete version of Camille Saint-Saens 'Le carnaval des animaux'. (I am assuming it is translated to 'The carnival of animals' :D) Really adorable.^^ (I have only gone to my practice after weeks of absence...I miss you Ms violin!!)

We bid farewell...

...to Happy Feet. :( *running to a corner and crying hysterically* Ok, I haven't talked about Happy Feet on here...much or at all. But I did mention that my cat (Vee aka Momma) had 2 kittens right? (And yeah I forgot the pictures...dang it) and the kittens are (or is) 4 months old this 26th October. :( Is is because Happy Feet have left us and gone to a better home, with my friend E and her husband (errr I forgot his name, but I can assure you he is a nice guy :D). So I should be happy right??

I am happy, but at the same time I am sad too. I love Happy Feet. Everyone loves Happy Feet. Who in their right mind wouldn't miss this cute little face:

or this:

Isn't that adorable?? She is a cutie...I miss her already...but she is in a good home. And I hope she grows up healthy and strong. We miss you Happy Feet!

Bumpits?

Ok...5 minutes ago I had no idea what a Bumpit is, am I too late to say.. Ohhhhh that thing. I didn't think they existed. Ok, anything can exist in this century but I never thought anything of it. I mean I know they do it the 'old fashion' way...you know they puffing your hair out with combs that will always gets it tangles at the end. I never do that. Just never appealed to me.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair (which I despise, but I absolutely LOVE now!) and I have never thought to volumize my hair that way. Like hello? My hair is very messy, frizzy and 'volumize' already..why would I want to destroy frizz it even more? You know what I mean...have it altered to make you look and feel good. Yeah I know, I am such a party pooper. Anywhooo, I guess I never really take the time to make myself look presentable -like most people- and hair is just hair (or so I thought). I don't really care to curl, straightened, volumize, do cute things to it until now. Well I still am lazy to do it, but I do have it curled...and it stays a couple of days...pretty cute too. :P

So anyway, Bumpits. Wow, the things people would buy. ;) Yeah well it is an easy way to get great hair (if you have great hair) and a cheap way too. I envy those people with pin-straight hair. How I envy thee!! I had my hair straightened for a whole 5 years, and I tell ya, it is hard to maintain. You'd have to iron it flat when the wave starts to show and every 6 months or so should re-straightened it. My aunt did me good when she kinda break me from the habit of straightening. Now I would love to do it again...but I think they curls makes it sexier :P. Really! I should've listened to my housemate when she said it was sexier...but I do love straight hair too. (I'm just lazy to iron it flat...cause I have thick mane and it takes a really, really long time.)

Ok anyway bumpits (dang I keep on babbling)...it really is a cool thing, I'd love to try it but...errr...I don't think it would look that good on me. :P Ehehehe...but if you're interested, visit here. I am sure they would come with a similar ones (cheaper and well I said somewhat similar here, when it has reached it's must-haves status).

Here's a picture in case you're wondering:

Birthday week: Over!

Just wanna summed up my birthday week: Nauseated.

I have been literally sick this whole week! And the fact that my birthday present is still floating in the South China Sea (haha, kidding, I hope it is not floating...touch wood) really didn't make me feel any better. I was hoping, really was hoping I'd get my pressie that CLK has sent me about a week and a half ago (ok would be 2 weeks this coming week) which he said would get here within 6-10 days. Hello?! I dunno...I am very skeptical about people saying it would get from point A to point B within a number of days. I mean, the guy at my post office says it would take several weeks for my package to reach him and it only took 7-8 days!! I love our postal system. *hugs* Ok maybe it was sheer luck...I am hoping I would always be this lucky!! Altho I won't try to be cocky next time I send him anything.

Anywhoo...yeah. I got no birthday pressies...*sniff sniff* (that was me sniffing cause I am sad not I am sick) and I don't even know if he remembers to send me my NYX stuffs too!!! WE bought it together, online!!! He said he would sent them with my pressies...sad, sad, sad.

On the other hand I got a birthday cake from my parents today which is Saturday. Yeah they are off by 6 days...but who cares! I still got chocolate cake! Yummmmmm...

So yeah, typical not-so-exciting-my-friend-took-a-rain-check-for-dinner-birthday week...but hoping things will get better this week. Post-birthday week. ^^ Altho I did spent a lot this whole week...like a lot lot (of money =_='''). I bought stuffs...I need.

P.S Something amazing happened during my birthday week. Ok I know I just said it sucked, but this was totally coincidental! Will tell you later....Can't wait!

Piece of the week: Star Wars Theme

Star Wars you say? Yes I say. Actually I did not find the clip I was looking for on YouTube (dang search engine) but we did play this piece this week. I am sure this is not an alien theme for all most of you since it's Star Wars for goodness sake! Honestly, I have only watched one Star Wars movie...it was preeeety good. I have to go thru it again just to make sure. :P

Our Friday rehearsal consists of string players only (or Junior Strings as it is dubbed). Most of the players kids that plays in it are
1. totally new to playing in the orchestra.
2. are not ready to join the full ensemble orchestra.
3. are kids (like WTF?)
4. did I say kids already?

Ok, the kids can play better than I! On a regular basic, meaning theories, solo pieces (I totally suck, that's why I need more practice!!) but they play really soft when they are in an orchestra. And they ok some, can't keep up with the pace of an orchestra. I am not saying I can - since I only play for like oh 14 years!- but some of the pieces we play are pretty damn fast! I know sometimes I can't keep up myself! That's for lack of sidereading the notes.. =_='''  I have lost my magic touch. *sigh* Nothing practice can't fix!!

Anywhooo, this week I present you Star Wars Theme. (Ok, this totally wasn't the one I was looking for either, but it is pretty darn close).

Happy Birthday!!!

"...A a a a a a, very happy birthday to me, TO ME..." I quote from Alice in Wonderland. :D Yay, it is my birthday!!!-5th October, if you're wondering- and I think I've spent a lot of $$$ ka-ching this birthday weekend. *sigh* But if it makes me happy I am thrilled, should I not be??

So anyway, like my cousin says 'If it is buying what you need, indeed it's not shopping' :P I concur. Hehehe, anything to make me feel better, right? Anywhooo, CLK said he sent me a package, which he persistently avoided even when I tricked him - in ways only I can do - to tell me what he sent me, he never moved. He's as solid as a rock! He got the package I sent his like 2 weeks ago, and he got in within 5 days and the old man at the post office said it will take about 2 weeks. I got lucky. CLK said he sent his like a week ago and he said it was suppose to arrive within 8-10 days, so I am hoping it will arrive today! Like hopefully.

I gotta sleep...I don't feel so good. I will update later...

Tsunami and Earthquakes

OMG OMG! This is really realllllllly scary. I remember the tsunami in 2004..like it was yesterday. And it is really scary. :( I hope it doesn't happen again.
