I would come to your house if I knew where you LIVED... (and if I was close, but I don't think I am :P)

Happy Jewish new year too!

I tell you who have the best parties though... the Orthodox Christians! They have 'patron saint days' or 'slava' -- basically 3 or 4 days of eating/partying to celebrate each family's patron saint. And there are many, many patron saints... And everyone is invited to their friends' slavas...

Seb: Everyone is welcome! (I know if you were closer you'd definitely have to come for the great food!!) Thanks :D When is Jewish new year? I dont really know my holidays except for the typical Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, bla bla you know :D

Hmmm holidays and food sounds too good to be true..

LiLu: I know! I love holidays too! Esp when you have to have no valid reason to be out and come back in the wee hour of the morning...it is a time for celebration! And of course good food :D

Sept 18th-20th, I think.

I think we use the same calendar as the Muslim one?
