Guest Blogger: Being able to keep the past behind

Hey lovely people :) Today an awesome friend of mine, Chris (follow him on Twitter if you want to know him better) is doing a guest post for me. Lately I have been lacking in posts and I feel so bad. I am hoping to have guess posts every week if I can or maybe one every month :). I think it would be pretty awesome (and less work for me to think :P hehehe, kidding). I'm sure everyone knows life brings it's surprises every day in life. Sometimes these are to be remembered and some are best to be forgotten. It's almost certainly very easy to see people everyday walk past and judge but next time your surrounded by people you don't usually see spare a thought for each one of them. Every person has scars of regrets and memories of fear they have to carry with them every day. Although some people carry more pain than others I am sure not one person has existed without a significant issues from their perspective.

The problem is however insignificant some of these problems may seem to us to the person these problems can be huge personally and really harm someone's confidence. So what is the answer to forgetting all of life's problems and moving along?

You can't exactly ignore them because then you aren't mending and improving yourself to learn from your previous wrongdoings. The problem is you can't dwell on them forever because regrets can begin to affect your future negatively. So where exactly is the line between these two areas and how hard is it to get there?

I think it depends on you as a person; around the point when regrets don't keep you awake at night and at the point where you can accept what you've done wrong, keeping the past in the past. You need to see how even if you wish whatever happened in the past had never happened, at the end of the day you can only become stronger from your past. I guess it's up to the individual to the most extent and how willing you are to accept your mistakes and be persistent until you achieve what you've been fighting for.

Honestly I feel like I have been there and I have not moved on yet. Maybe I should and look at the bright side, I am still here I can make better decisions and not regret any decisions I have made in the past. I need to move on :) Have you ever come across problems in your life that you regret?

Nuffnang celebrates BlogDay!

So I don't know if it is a coincidence that Nuffnang blogday fall on the 31st of August, which also happen to be Malaysia's Independence day (Merdeka! Merdeka!) and it is the second day of raya (eid). I hope I am not too late to submit this cause I want to share with you some blogs I found interesting and I read through and through! The Blythes amazing journey to be with each other. :) I think I love reading this because it reminds me of my own relationship and the hardship of getting there. They are just a beautiful and cute couple, jealous here! ;)

I found Kaitlin's blog from another blog (which I totally forgot!) and I just fell in love! I don't bake often or cook but her blog is amazing and it will make you drool like crazy! She also takes amazing pictures and share recipes on her blog. Sweet!

I am a sucker for amazing and beautiful pictures - and for inspiration, I want to be able to take awesome pictures too someday (not be a photographer cause I don't think I am creative enough). And since she lives so close to CLK I so want her to take our wedding pictures :P (if it ever happens anyway). :D And she looks so hot now - with her weight lost and all. I am jealous and envious!

Status: Lost of Transmission

I have to be away for awhile. I have to sort out a few problems concerning my photo uploads..so that puts all the posts I have scheduled to be posted at a later date. Seriously this makes me kinda grumpy (if you follow my tweets - but don't worry I tweet about nothingness) and since Aunt Flo came down, I am extra grumpy and sad and an emotional wreck. My bUbs is trying to make me feel better. It will get better soon. *sigh*

Goodbye 2010, hello 2011

I wanted to write a super duper long post reminiscing the past 2010, then I thought I want to spend it with my family. So this short one will do :).

My year wasn't all that great, didn't jump off a plane, or went scuba diving, didn't get married either (a lot of my friends did - congratulations!), didn't fall and break anything, maybe a cup, so overall it was good. :) Not exciting or crazy but it was fun. :D I get to meet a lot of new friends, literally and virtually. ^__^ My blog grew, as I tried to post every day, and I met a lot of cool bloggers out there! There are so many things to read and write! And I admire all the beauty bloggers that dedicate their time to blogging. :)
