Google Doodle: International Women's Day

Hello everyone!! Happy International Women's Day!!! I think this is one of the cutest doodles Google has ever done :)

I just want to thank all of the powerful, inpirational, hard working, dedicated and beautiful women out there. And to all of my fellow bloggers/youtubers/tweeple, thank you for making me a small part of your life. :) You guys are inspirational to me and all of the women out in the world.

Let's celebratrate us and have fun tonight!! Anyway, update. I have a 60s musical show Friday night so that is why I have been MIA for these past few weeks. Rehearsal have been everyday, from 7 to midnight. So it is kinda tiring. Everything is coming along nicely. I wish I had some nice clips to show you but most are just of people's behind because I can only take videos when I am not playing, which for the most part I am playing. I have some rehearsal shots that I uploaded on facebook. I will post some here when I have them all up and I can just copy and paste. :D

I miss reading your blogs and when I am home free after this show I will have a ton of posts to read!! Musicals are my favorite to play in. I hope they do more in the future!!

TV Date: What I am looking forward to

Hey everyone, how is your week going? I wish it was fall where I am since it's been pretty hot and humid here. :) A few things I love about fall are the cooler weather, the changing leaves and the start of shows. :D i am a tv junkie so this is a pretty exciting and crazy time for me.

So last season I was excited to wait for the new season of Once upon a time and Person of Interest to start up again and it is almost here! This is what I found out on tv.com.

So what shows are you looking forward to?

Seasons are ending~ What to expect next season

What seasons you may ask? Well the end of shows, the finale, and the dreaded question: did your favorite shows made it to the next season? :D

Of course if you know me and my shows, I watch a whole bunch of them. You can check my TV dates. I am so happy that my 3 of my favorite new shows are making a comeback next season :) I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if more good news will follow!

I just started to watch Castle (from season 1) and I am liking it. Although I love any cop-murder-CSI-esque drama, I liked it.

Now this was a love or hate show but I loved it! Jack or Daniel, Daniel or Jack? Gosh Emily (Amanda) pick one! I would've picked Jack. He's more of my type but Daniel has the ka-ching. I love the dresses they wear tho...

Once Upon a Time (YAY!!)

I was so happy this series is renewed!! :D I love love this show! It would be hard for me to wait for season 2.

The Middle

I have not watched a single episode of this show but I guess now it's worth the time. Since they are all on summer vacation  it's good to get up to speed with what's going on.

Another one of my favorite show this year! :) It's funny and quirky and just awesome. :D If you have not watched this you should!

TV Date: The Pillars of the Earth || Game of Thrones

So ever since I can remember, I am pretty much into shows or miniseries with the mid evil theme. From the Three Musketeers to Robin Hood, to The legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table, to Merlin. There's also the story of King Henry VIII (if I remember correctly) and there was also Anne Boleyn (which I gotta say is really interesting and sad), and Queen Elizabeth. Funny thing about that I have not seen the Tudors yet. That will be on my list.

So when CLK's sister told me about Game of Thrones (I didn't know it existed even after my friend obsessively tweeted about it on Twitter for weeks) I decide...meh why not. I'll give it a go. :D The opening theme kinda scare me (don't ask me why and I always skip it) and....I loved it! Even though I hate the torturous torture they do it floats my boat.

And this month, November, they started showing The Pillars of the Earth on tv and I was like, WHA--? How come I haven't seen this before? I have always wanted to read this book by Ken Follett but I have never gotten the book and thought why not just watch it? I know most people say books are better than shows or series but I love watching if I can. :)

The opening of pillars of the earth reminds me of the opening theme for game of thrones...somewhat similar.










So have any of you seen or read The pillar of the earth by Ken Follett?

TV Date: What I am waiting for this morning (Friday night for you far West people XD)

I just saw that the have brought forward Grimm from the weekends to Friday. :D But it also means that it will be on the same day as Supernatural. I am beyond excited!! Grimm is starting to grow on me and I was excited to have 2 shows with fairy tale themes and supernatural elements of course!!




I like this show but I hope it doesn't get out of control like Lost.




I have not watched Heart  Hart of Dixie or Suburgatory but they look pretty interesting. I might just start soon. My list of shows keep growing everyday :P

What have you been watching lately?

Project 365: #96 A jazzy weekend

I have been pretty busy this weekend and last, with shows/performance back to back weekend. :) The show was pretty awesome, since there was not a whole lot of audience I still think it's a success. :D I am still waiting for my uncle to upload some pictures of the performance, since my pictures are just goofy, on stage pictures, I will post anyway.

Project 365: #92 An Evening with SONS Classic

During the show (we actually are pretty good and look awesome :D).

After the show (I had to dive into a picture with my conductor (the one with the white bow tie) because I don't have a picture with him and I have been playing for 10years!).

TV Date: Persons Unknown

Have you ever watched this show? They are currently airing the first season where I am and it's seriously addicting but annoying at the same time. It reminds me of Lost and that made my sisters does not want to watch it. It somehow makes me anxious thinking about how it will end. 0_o

Anniversary and birthdays celebration :)

I wanted to share some pictures with you guys. :) 2 weeks ago (December 18th) or so was my parents' 27th anniversary and it was also my Christmas/year end concert. My sisters cooked and baked a cake (which was cup cake batter they turn into a chocolate cake!) and it was delish! :D It was better! And yummilicious!! ^__^ I wasn't there to celebrate with them but they waited for me to come home to cut the cake. :D Isn't it an interesting cake? So decorative :P.

It was a really fun day, and a tiring one for me, since I had to run around at the show and home but I get to eat yummy food so it was worth it!! ^_~

Saturday night was fun...with red polka dot tights ^__^

It was the Governer's birthday celebration. And we were playing for his birthday dinner. (FYI I play in an orchestra :) maybe I'll blog about it one of these days ;) ). One of the many things I love about it is I get to dress up: usually all black which is fine with me because I love black. :D So that particular night I decided to wear this red polka dot tights. And I am. In. Love. :)

A funny thing happened just before I got in the car to go to the hall - the screw on my glasses was loose and it fell. So I was practically blind without them! This is what happened after a lil help from my friend.

It's kinda hilarious when I look at it now...and I did joke about it that night :P (and I got it fixed!).

I was trying to hide the 'injured' glasses XD and you can't see it really ^__^

So it was a pretty busy week, with rehearsal and such and after that I went out to have dinner with one of the member. He said I remind him of his daughter..awww. I was touched and honored. :) We had some noodle soup and satay. Sadly I think I deleted the picture because it was dark, booo... :D.

Pretty Little Liars

I recently watched Pretty Little Liars after watching TiffanyD's video on her July faves on MakeupByTiffanyD channel. OMG, I got hooked! I as always, don't read the books. It is geared towards tweens, cause of the HS setting and such but the storyline is really interesting. I am up to episode 3 but I want to catch up. They have 9 episodes available so I can't wait.

You should check the episodes out. One of the girls, Aria, reminds me of Selena Gomes but I think Selena is cuter. But the girls are pretty believable tho. :D Very intriguing.
