Tv Date: Go on

Or as CLK calls it 'GoOn' LOL. So I remember when FRIENDS was the bomb and then FRIENDS ended and my life became a dim light bulb. So when Matt le Blanc came back with Episodes I was so excited and hoped it was somewhat as good and funny as FRIENDS but I was somewhat disappointed. When I was browsing through tv.com website and saw Matthew Perry has a show coming up I thought 'Well maybe Matthew Perry could be a lot funnier that Matt, I mean we all love Chandler Bing.' And I was right!

Matthew Perry's new show 'Go On' is pretty funny. Might not be as funny as FRIENDS but pretty close. His character in that show is named Ryan but whenever I watch that show it always reminded me of Chandler. Seriously. Even CLK agreed with me. XD

There are a few new shows I was looking forward to watching this time of year but Go On wasn't one of them. I am so glad I did because I am loving it! I hope this show survives the year and gets a second season like Community. :) If you haven't watched this you should. I dare ya. ;) Have a great Monday!

TV Date: What I am looking forward to

Hey everyone, how is your week going? I wish it was fall where I am since it's been pretty hot and humid here. :) A few things I love about fall are the cooler weather, the changing leaves and the start of shows. :D i am a tv junkie so this is a pretty exciting and crazy time for me.

So last season I was excited to wait for the new season of Once upon a time and Person of Interest to start up again and it is almost here! This is what I found out on tv.com.

Seasons are ending~ What to expect next season

What seasons you may ask? Well the end of shows, the finale, and the dreaded question: did your favorite shows made it to the next season? :D

Of course if you know me and my shows, I watch a whole bunch of them. You can check my TV dates. I am so happy that my 3 of my favorite new shows are making a comeback next season :) I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if more good news will follow!

I just started to watch Castle (from season 1) and I am liking it. Although I love any cop-murder-CSI-esque drama, I liked it.

Now this was a love or hate show but I loved it! Jack or Daniel, Daniel or Jack? Gosh Emily (Amanda) pick one! I would've picked Jack. He's more of my type but Daniel has the ka-ching. I love the dresses they wear tho...

I was so happy this series is renewed!! :D I love love this show! It would be hard for me to wait for season 2.

I have not watched a single episode of this show but I guess now it's worth the time. Since they are all on summer vacation  it's good to get up to speed with what's going on.

TV Date: The Pillars of the Earth || Game of Thrones

So ever since I can remember, I am pretty much into shows or miniseries with the mid evil theme. From the Three Musketeers to Robin Hood, to The legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table, to Merlin. There's also the story of King Henry VIII (if I remember correctly) and there was also Anne Boleyn (which I gotta say is really interesting and sad), and Queen Elizabeth. Funny thing about that I have not seen the Tudors yet. That will be on my list.

So when CLK's sister told me about Game of Thrones (I didn't know it existed even after my friend obsessively tweeted about it on Twitter for weeks) I decide...meh why not. I'll give it a go. :D The opening theme kinda scare me (don't ask me why and I always skip it) and....I loved it! Even though I hate the torturous torture they do it floats my boat.

And this month, November, they started showing The Pillars of the Earth on tv and I was like, WHA--? How come I haven't seen this before? I have always wanted to read this book by Ken Follett but I have never gotten the book and thought why not just watch it? I know most people say books are better than shows or series but I love watching if I can. :)

The opening of pillars of the earth reminds me of the opening theme for game of thrones...somewhat similar.










So have any of you seen or read The pillar of the earth by Ken Follett?

TV Date: What I am waiting for this morning (Friday night for you far West people XD)

I just saw that the have brought forward Grimm from the weekends to Friday. :D But it also means that it will be on the same day as Supernatural. I am beyond excited!! Grimm is starting to grow on me and I was excited to have 2 shows with fairy tale themes and supernatural elements of course!!




I like this show but I hope it doesn't get out of control like Lost.




I have not watched Heart  Hart of Dixie or Suburgatory but they look pretty interesting. I might just start soon. My list of shows keep growing everyday :P

TV Date: The Lying Game, Ringer and The Secret Circle

As I was reading some of my awesome blogger friends blogs came across a post about new shows coming up. Two which stood out the most were Ringer and The Secret Circle. I am sure you must've watched the pilot for both. Ringer starring Sarah Michelle Geller (I wanted to write Sarah Jessica Parker..haha what's up with that?) is about a pair of identical twin that lives totally different lives.

This actually reminds me of another series, The Lying Game. It has that 'same' concept, identical twins thing and one trying to be the other kinda theory. The lying game is based on the book by Sara Shepard the same author that wrote Pretty Little Liars. You know how I love my Pretty Little Liars and I am beginning to like The Lying Game too. Oh yeah, one major turn on "hottie" by the name of Blair Redford who plays Ethan Whitehorse, oh so totally hot. He was also in Switched at Birth. Then he was no more. So totally worth the time ;).

Now onto the secret circle, I was attracted to it because Britt Robertson was starring in it. She played Lux in Life Unexpected which was cancelled I believe. I like that show. Oh yeah Kristoffer Polaha who played Baze in that show is also in Ringer. If you haven't watch it yet, this show is about witches and warlocks I suppose. It kinda reminds me of Charmed and The Covenent in some sort of way. I actually enjoyed the pilot and can't wait for the next episode. I have to say I thought I would like Ringer more but Ringer is kinda boring to me. The Secret Circle is much more intriguing. I hope both keeps clinging on for awhile. And I can't wait for my Supernatural to come back, soon! Oh and have you watched the latest season of Vampire Diaries? I dunno why I never got into it...

TV Date: The Gates

Ok I am gonna take a break from P365. It is actually killing me to think I am back dating stuff =___=''. I just need a breather. :) So I am gonna whine...a lil.

Have you watched this show? It is cancelled now but ughhh I am so pissed because a lot of questions were unanswered. It's a werewolf/vampire show which is like...typical (it's like a trend) and at first I thought I would not like it but it's settling in and then BAM!! the didn't finish the story. I am kinda bummed that I didn't know what happened to Andi and the vampires, the werewolf, and Charlie. Like hello, it's like hanging. But I guess that will have to be. *sigh* It's sad really I thought they might have wrapped up the series and kill Devon or something. Devon is a mean b***h :P but you know there's always a person like that. :P

And Supernatural and Pretty Little Liars isn't helping either!!! So since this is done, I am thinking of starting off another series. I am looking at Dexter but it has a lot of seasons which is like =____='' so I am thinking of watching something that either 1) have been cancelled or 2) is short. So I am thinking of Dirty Sexy Money or Reaper. I think both were cancelled and both have less than 2 seasons. Perfect!! LOL

So what gets you sitting in front of the tube? Any recommendations?

TV Date: Better off Ted

OMG this must be one of the funnies show I have watched (in awhile) but too bad it got cancelled. Awww... *pout* but no worries, I still think it is worth the mention. Like seriously if you want a good laugh, dark humor, this is one for you. Seriously. :D And if you like Portia de Rossi, I think she is hot..to be honest :).

CLK and I fell in love with this series after watching it Thursday and now, we're hooked!! :D There's only 2 seasons so we are going to run through it non-stop! The downside to it is, other than it was cancelled, is that it's only 20-something minutes long. I wish it was an hour long. More dark humor >:D.

Have you ever watched this show? They are currently airing the first season where I am and it's seriously addicting but annoying at the same time. It reminds me of Lost and that made my sisters does not want to watch it. It somehow makes me anxious thinking about how it will end. 0_o
