Football update: FA cup

Shall I say, one game down and more to go :) The FA cup match against Huddersfield Town was scary.
CLK and I was watching this very rare game that comes on at 8pm, but it was raining hard. I was glad it calmed down before the game ends :). When Bendtner scored the first goal I was like "OK! We can do this!" and we were also watching Better off Ted (our favorite!) while the game was on half time. Then when Sebastien Squillaci was give a red card and sent off I was like "damn, not again". I was hoping the won't lose this game, that would really suck.

But of course when Cesc Fabregas came in, the game turned. :D They got a penalty and scored, of course! :D Yay win!!! It really suck because Denilson and Nasir got injured. Get well soon!! I am actually really excited because they have another game on Tuesday. I just hope they can win and are not too tired from the last game. Good luck team!!

Pack your bags cause we're going to Wembley: Football update

Like literally ...we are going to the finals!!! Arsenal I mean XD I can't remember the last time they were ever in the finals. Maybe like years and years back? They were almost thru last season but was short. I was so scared that they were going to lose against Ipswich Town on Tuesday that I did not watch the game. Nerves. I did catch the repeat tho. Epic Arsenal game. Awesome. Another 3 - 0 score. I think 3 should be a lucky number for the Gunners this year. :D But not finishing 3rd of course, that would just be terrible.

The caption, Fabregas scored the third goal and it was just a wonderful sight. *sigh* Bendtner and Koscielny scored the other two goals. Awesome game. Come on, we can win the cup this season!!!

Previous games:

FA Cup
Arsenal v Leeds 1 - 1

Carling Cup (1st leg)
Ipswich Town v Arsenal 1 - 0

Premier League
West Ham Utd v Arsenal 0 - 3

FA Cup (2nd game)
Leeds v Arsenal 3 - 0

Premier League
Arsenal v Wigan 3 - 0

We need this!

On other news, The Green Bay packers and the Pittsburg Steelers are going to the Superbowl. :D

Football update: Last few games

I have been dreading posting football updates, as you see I have less and less of them. Don't get me wrong I do watch em :) (YAY GO ARSENAL!!) but they disappoint me when I feel like they should make me excited and happy. Ya know what I mean?! Meaning more winning, less draws...thankfully they have not lost many games so far and this Saturday night, FA cup and they have their Carling cup semi final match Wednesday. So contemplating to go to my orchestra practice or not XD. Shhhhhhh don't tell my conductor!!

Past few games (wow totally just checked last update - 5 games ago! XD):

December 13th
Arsenal v Manchester Utd (0 - 1) - The lost, what can I say? Could've gone top of the table...grrrr.

December 27th
Chelsea v Arsenal (3 - 1) - Then the next game they won. o.O Really surprising how they can come up and surprise ya. I am thrilled of course!! It's Chelsea we're talking about XD.

December 29th
Wigan Athletic v Arsenal (2 - 2) - From a lost, to a win, to a draw. See my frustration? >.<' They were winning, then....need explanation much?

January 1st
Birmingham City v Arsenal (3 - 0) - Another win! Yay, and it was on new year's day too. Happy! ^^. We need more of this to come!

January 5th
Arsenal v Manchester City (0 - 0) - The other devil, in blue. *sigh* Another draw, a win would put them below Manchester Utd. Why does this keep happening?? And some players are going on loan. Come back soon!! =___='' Apparently they only have wallpaper on their site of winning games :P I never noticed that.

January 8th (FA Cup - I thought it was a Carling cup match. Guess they changed the date)
Arsenal v Leeds
Hoping for a win - fingers crossed!! Leeds have not been in the Barclays Premier League in a long time. So a win would be great! And the football clubs need jersey colors in pink and purple. No more boring black, blues and red (except for Arsenal XD).

FA Cup 6th Round

Arsenal beat Hull City in the 6th round of the FA Cup so that means they are going to play in the quarter finals with Manchester United and Chelsea. I have to look forward to that. Arsenal is also in the Champions League quarter finals and they are playing Villareal (I think anyway) and Chelsea is playing Liverpool. That would be interesting. Can't wait.

FA Cup 5th round

Last night I was thinking what a great game the FA cup 5th round would be. And since Manchester United was thru to the semi-final after beating the opposite team (I don't know who they played) 4 - 0, and Chelsea winning 2 - 0, I was hoping Arsenal would do the same and go thru to the quarter final, where they would meet Hull City for the semi final spot (altho I wasn't aware that Chelsea and Man Utd was ahead by 1 game). So I was so psych last night and text my uncle who is also an Arsenal fan, asking if he was coming home to watch the game with us. My sister, my brother and my cousin was sitting in front of the tv eager to get the game going (but of course we couldn't since :P). My uncle was running late (like a half time late, and only made it to the 2nd half of the game) because he was busy at his fiancee's house, oh he's getting married this friday :P.

The game was not that great to start with. I thought they were a lil' scattered all over the place. :P Altho it was an interesting start to the game. And I thought I was having this
Déjà vu moment. They were playing Burnley for this 5th round FA cup and I thought 'didn't they play Burnley before?'. While I was waiting for the match to start, I was listening to "the game prediction" that was on and that's when they showed that Burnley had beaten Arsenal in the Carling Cup quarter finals by 3 - 0, and 'ahh no wonder I thought that they have played Burnley before!' lol. Damn by now I was hoping they would beat Burnley 5 - 0 ...hahaha >:) *evil laugh*

The lineup for Arsenal last night was:

Goalkeeper: Lukasz Fabianski
Defender: William Gallas, Bacary Sagna, Johan Djourou, Kieran Gibbs
Midfielders: Andrey Arshavin, Alex Song, Abou Diaby, Emmanuel Eboue
Strikers: Carlos Vela, Eduardo

Arsène Wenger kept the team to a young side. One of the highlights of the game for me was that Theo Walcott came in as a substitude after 4 months away with a shoulder injury, I was glad Theo got to play ^_^. Altho I would love to see Fabregas play too :P (CLK says he is my other bf, LOL).

It turned out to be a great game well because ARSENAL won :P. 3 - 0, it was a revenge for beating them in the Carling Cup. HAHAHAHA....at least that's what I like to think so.The first goal was a great goal by Vela, I thought he deserve to be the man of the match, but I think they gave it to Eduardo. It was a tough game because Burnley's keeper was huge (they said he is named the beast for his large stature...ahaha). Since it was that tough, Vela goal made it a sweet victory. I bet the keeper said to himself 'Damn I was fooled by that lil twerp' LOL. It was a great goal I tell ya.

The second goal was Eduardo's goal and I guess it was a very interesting one. The ball came to him a lil late and he put it in the goal by the heel of his boot, it was a good goal (ok maybe Vela's goal isn't that great but at least they were scoring). The third one was by Eboue, and he has been trying to score since the last few games and (finally) he got his chance. It was a rather Eboue-like goal, always wanting to try but coming up short, but that one was great. See now I am a happy camper ^_^. By the third goal (my uncle manage to get back in time for the second half) we were making noises like crazy. I wish CLK was there, since the games we saw were "boring" ones, this one and the last 3 games were great!!! My dad heard all the noise we were making and he actually came out of his bedroom and asked why we were making so much noise :P but it was fun. *sigh* A good game. I think my description of the game is boring so read here if you want to know more (but I doubt you would read it...hahahha).

Oooo, I found this really interesting clip. Go here to watch it...honest you will absofuckinglutely LOVE it >:) *evil laughter*.

~ Listening to Ernie - Rubber duckie (CLK thinks I'm going nuts!!), some All American Reject, Jimmy Eat World, Ash, Blink 182~ *damn I have to get ready for my Jazz practice*
