The Champions

A few hours ago the Champion's League final was held at Wembley stadium between Barcelona and Manchester United. AND of course we know the better team won. XD

Now I am really regretting not watching the game with my dad but instead I was here asleep :P LOL Of course Barcelona won!!! WOOHoooOOOO! Barcelona's goal was scored by Pedro, Messi and Villa. Of course Messi had to be in the score sheet. Trying to stop Lionel Messi is like trying to stop a ragging bull. David Villa had to contribute also. :) Manchester United's only goal came from Rooney. Good job Rooney but not good enough to stop Barcelona.

So this proves the point Barcelona is the team to beat and be at, is Fabregas thinking of moving? I hope not. We NEED to bring trophies to Emirates Stadium next season.

Football update: Arsenal v Everton

We Arsenal won!! YAY!! I am always ecstatic when they win...hehe ^^. They had a game Sunday for the FA cup and then less than 48 hours had another game against Everton. How do they do it?! 0.o I bet they get real tired but have another few days to rest and train for their Newcastle United match on Saturday, which I will be watching :). Yay...let's hope they win! We need to keep up with the leader of the table I assume is still Manchester United.

On that note, did you know Fernando Torres moved to Chelsea? O.o That's what I heard, tell me it isn't true. WHY? Why Torres?????? You disappoint me in going blue....*sigh* Let's hope they do bad eh.. :P I like Torres tho....this is tough!

Anyway, we (as in CLK and I) are having a Superbowl Monday party...just the two of us and a bunch of virtual people...LOL sad isn't it?? I know it's on Sunday but it will be played on Monday where I am, so Superbowl Monday, although it does not rhyme. Are you watching the Superbowl this Sunday?

Football update: Last few games

I have been dreading posting football updates, as you see I have less and less of them. Don't get me wrong I do watch em :) (YAY GO ARSENAL!!) but they disappoint me when I feel like they should make me excited and happy. Ya know what I mean?! Meaning more winning, less draws...thankfully they have not lost many games so far and this Saturday night, FA cup and they have their Carling cup semi final match Wednesday. So contemplating to go to my orchestra practice or not XD. Shhhhhhh don't tell my conductor!!

Past few games (wow totally just checked last update - 5 games ago! XD):

December 13th 
Arsenal v Manchester Utd (0 - 1) - The lost, what can I say? Could've gone top of the table...grrrr.

December 27th
Chelsea v Arsenal (3 - 1) - Then the next game they won. o.O Really surprising how they can come up and surprise ya. I am thrilled of course!! It's Chelsea we're talking about XD.

January 1st
Birmingham City v Arsenal (3 - 0) - Another win! Yay, and it was on new year's day too. Happy! ^^. We need more of this to come!

Arsenal v Manchester City (0 - 0) - The other devil, in blue. *sigh* Another draw, a win would put them below Manchester Utd. Why does this keep happening?? And some players are going on loan. Hoping for a win - fingers crossed!! Leeds have not been in the Barclays Premier League in a long time. So a win would be great! And the football clubs need jersey colors in pink and purple. No more boring black, blues and red (except for Arsenal XD).

Football update: What happened last week

Hey guys~ It has been almost 10 days. Sorry =___='' It has been a busy week. :) Will update soon! Just had our Christmas/year end concert and it was Ah-mazing! :) First time I have felt so happy after a show! ^__^

So I wanted to update about football. First of all, the game tonight (18th December, 1500 UK time) is postponed because there is a blizzard in London. I am kinda sad but the snow is so beautiful.

See? Awesome huh? But the game is postponed. Sucks. Arsenal vs Stoke City will commence until further notice. Last week they met Manchester United for a match but they lost, 1 - 0. Which sucks more. *sigh*

They will meet Barcelona for the round of 16 for the Champions League and it does not seem very bright. Like ending the run for the Champions League. So no game tonight, maybe that means early night? :)

Oh I was bitter last night because I could not watch my Arsenal match and thought "Oh yeah because Manchester United is playing. It's because of Manchester United...blablabla..". I didn't watch that game because Manchester United was playing...see the problem? But this morning, OMFG!!! They lost!!! >:D *evil laugh* See people at Astro, you should put the Arsenal game live because Manchester United got beaten bad by West Ham United (4 - 0)...muahahhahahah!! Evil..I am evil!!!

Even though they only scored one goal (Bendtner) they did win!! And are going to the semi final! And with no big four (Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool) to stop them, they have an equal chance (hopefully more) to win the cup!! Come on, if they lose to Ipswich that would be humiliating. o.O

The night just seem shorter

Footie update!! Ok ok, I am soooooooooooo happy!! ^__^ Can you tell?! Can you can you?!! Of course, because it's football update again! :D Tonight I watched 3 games (I am so rocking football weekend and surprise at myself) and I actually sat there watching Liverpool play Blackburn because I cannot watch the Arsenal game! Imagine how pissed I was?!?!?! Although that you internet, I did follow it live online and did kinda catch it on the telly now and then. Ugghhh.

So I watched the Manchester United and Stoke game, Liverpool and Blackburn game and Manchester City and Arsenal game. I am happy to inform you that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal WON!! Woohoo, I am most excited for Arsenal. They won 3-0 and now number 2 under Chelsea. I wish Chelsea would drop more points :P. Liverpool game was a pretty good one to watch. They (finally!) won, 2-1. Fernando Torres scored the second goal. Yay Torres, I was waiting and hoping he would finally do his magic. :) Yay for Torres.

I didn't pay much attention to the Manchester game tho, I know they won and it was kind of blurry. I had a nice chat with my friend Kathy in Aussie. :) Gossiping while watching football is the best XD. So on to the Arsenal game, first goal was from Nasri. :) The second was Song and third the beloved Nicklas Bentdner. I have not seen that man on the pitch for so long!! Well done Bendtner! :D Way to boost your confidence. The weird thing was that Fabregas missed a penalty and it was ashamed that he did. But at least they won, yay! I say yay a lot I know. I am just excited even tho I did not watch the game. I am definitely going to look for a replay for that game.

When-you-blog-about-football-you-know-life-doesn't-get-that-much-surprising Game 5?

Ok midweek I was super excited about Arsenal winning to Braga (yes it is an Arsenal post, man up) but I was really frustrated and disappointed that they did not win against Sunderland. It is typical Arsenal style (yes they have a style which they need to change!) to do great, and win big midweek and suck on weekends. They need to beat Chelsea :P ahaha. But yeah, disappointed but not so much since 'thankfully' did not watch the game, the channel was crazy fu***d up. The only goal scored is by the sexy captain himself, Fabregas. Which kinda suck I was hoping they would win and gap themselves further from Manchester Utd and closer to Chelsea, but it was not meant to be. **Sob sob

Traumatic Thursday

*Achoo* Happy *sniff sniff* Thursday everyone. I think I am down with something. *sniff sniff* =_='' CLK said to be positive! I am...but someone told me today I look pale (can it be?) and I am never pale. She said I look sick...huhu~~ Sad. I hope I won't get sick over the weekend. Altho it would be a good excuse to skip every possible thing I have to do! :P Ahahahaha** Ok, anyway...it has been raining the whole last week. Up to here you see (pointing to my neck) but it has been blazing hot! these past 2 days. It's the whole changing of the weather from hot-cold to cold-hot that has me reeling in pain. Not so much pain...but I have this really itchy and scratchy throat. It usually mean that I will get a bad cough and then a cold then fever. =_=''' FML. There also was a flood warning for my area. Dang flood.


Anywhooo...on with the good news. Arsenal had 2 games within the expand of 3 days...with Bolton Wanderers...and they FREAKIN' WON!! Whooo...hooo. Now they go top of the table (if anyone cares!:P). The won against Bolton 2-0 on Sunday and 4-2 last night!!!! Yay!! So happy! I am trying to get a video so you can feel my excitement. Fabregas, Rosicky, Arshavin all scored!! I don't remember who scored the 4th one...but who cares!! And fyi, Manchester Utd lost against Manchester City!! Go Teves!! >:D

Starting my ritual

Every year, around this time of month, I would start my ritual. It is a very tiring ritual, a lot of reading and comparing notes. A lot of 'ohhh' and 'askdhouahfvdo' (that's me swearing), and a lot of "bla bla bla" (that's me talking) about...FOOTBALL. :D Yes it is that time of year when the Barclays Premier League starts and me, as an avid football-supporter-viewer, keep up-to-date with the current transfer/move/changes of my favorite club, Arsenal. :D Of course other people would think that it is boring (truthfully it is if you don't have a fuckin' clue what I'm talking about) and some people would think, 'Well she's watching it because of the (cute) players' (and you are partially right, but hey, that's like a bonus. :D Fun isn't it?).

Ok what I do before the season starts:

1. List out all the players that are in the team. Since we all know (I'm sure you know) that players come and go, and updating is a must. Beside, it will make it easier to hold a conversation with my uncles and cousins and I can tell them "you are wrong" straight to their faces :P. This of course needs me to have a full knowledge of who is staying, who is leaving, who is gone.

2. Reminisce on all the glory of last year, e.g who scored what, who scored when, who was out for how long, who will regret leaving, the-good-the-bad-the-very-bad, etc etc. Of course this will have to be done with an avid supporter too. (Yes I like displaying my well-round knowledge of football to my male friends, I need some respect.)

3. Back-up support other clubs that is not Manchester United or Chelsea. No offence to their fans. (This means Liverpool - and maybe other clubs, such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City - when they are not playing against Arsenal of course). This is done, well I could say I like the team as equal but it's because of Fernando Torres :P. I think hes cool. Yes shut up you lucky Liverpool supporters.

4. List out all their games, time and dates (since I DO NOT want to miss any, if possible). Of course some of the games aren't even shown live (which sucks since they show all the Man U and Chelsea games). But I'm glad for delayed telecast. Altho I always cheat and check the score before hand on their website (I don't want to waste my time watching a game if they lost :P).

5. Hope they win silverware this year (fingers crossed XD) and checking vids and highlights on Footytube. :D It's my bestfriend during football season.


So that's basically what I do during football season. Yes I know it is kinda boring but football is fun XD. At least to me it is, and I'd watch a game no matter how late it is, even if I fall asleep with the football watching me :P.


Yeah reminds me when CLK was here, and I told him we gotta watch football together (since he can't watch it while he works, time difference thingy) so we did. We watch a fair share of matches, and I remember staying up and watching it with him a couple of times, with my sister and uncle. The other number of time I think I was too tired to even make it to half-time. I told him if anything happens (e.g goals, red cards, anything exciting basically) he should wake me up. But of course he didn't wake me up cause nothing happened. :P But those we fun times, I'd do it again. Even tho I am only there to fall asleep XD. Good times. <3>

Balls, no more balls!!

Balls have been disappointing me. Basketball, football (soccer by the way :P), Formula 1 (ok that has nothing to do with balls tho but anyway), it has all disappoint me!!

I was watching the Dallas Mavericks vs Denver Nugget game with my sister earlier, and I was wondering - 'Gees did San Antonio Spurs LOST to Mavericks?' .... 'NOOooooo' *sigh*

Then early Wednesday morning, actually the night before that, my sister had a dream that Arsenal will lose against Man Utd. Yeah, yeah so Man Utd won, and I gotta say Arsenal played crappy football. *double sigh*. And I had this gut-wrenching feeling (that's what I told CLK anyway) that they are gonna lose, bad...REAL bad. He tried to give me some positive-vibes (of course I knew they were already losing!! =_=") he said 'babe, I don't think you wanna watch that game, just rest.' Hah! I knew it was worse that expected.

Formula 1 isn't any better either (ok they don't have anything to do with football) but my super-hot-cute-sexy-blue-eyed-Fin-driver Kimi Raikkonen, has failed to impressed me after 4 races. How bad is that?? Pretty bad. Oh Kimi, do try your best. You know I am behind you 100% *dreamy eyed*.

Oh, I have been looking for a nice, long, black, classy dress (with no luck). Is it that hard to find one?

FA Cup 6th Round

Arsenal beat Hull City in the 6th round of the FA Cup so that means they are going to play in the quarter finals with Manchester United and Chelsea. I have to look forward to that. Arsenal is also in the Champions League quarter finals and they are playing Villareal (I think anyway) and Chelsea is playing Liverpool. That would be interesting. Can't wait.
