Playlist Friday: Remix (I like the) - New Kids on the Block

Happy Friday and weekends everyone! It will be a long weekend for us because we are celebrating Gawai holidays :D Yay for long weekends! 5 days to be exact :D.

Sorry this is kinda late and I have been away for a long time! I had 2 shows back to back a week ago and I started teaching after school classes for my aunts. Teaching them language, reading and maths. It is rather satisfying. So it has been kinda hectic and stress!

Sooo I have been listening to this song on the radio for so long but I didn't know who sung it (DUH!) and I giggled a little when I found out that NKOTB sung it. I didn't grow up listening to them and I only know one Joey McIntyre song (I don't know if I spelled his name right) and I am pretty sure the other guy (I don't know his name!!) is the guy that plays Danny in Blue Blood. HAHA.. but this song is so catchy! IT makes me dance every time I listen to it!

It was a very hot day and everyone was tired towards the end of the day but it was so much fun! :) I would do it again...and again :D These pictures were taken by the wedding photographer. :)

Wedding: A little Gangnam style?

Attended my cousin's wedding last weekend and it was super fun! This is a little teaser of the wedding!

Trying to edit some photos of the wedding but there are a ton to choose from! Internet is hard to come by here too so I have to wait till I am back home to edit those photos. Hope I can get my hands on some photos from the photographer (he's the guy in the middle) so I can use some of his photos and post them on here. :D My cousins and uncle are awesome enough to do this gangnam style shot. It was tiring and hot but super fun!

MIA: Mini vacation & a wedding

So I will be away this weekend and hopefully I can get on Monday or Tuesday for an update. :) My bestie, my course mate, my ex-housemate is getting married! I am beyond excited. When I was in KL in February she begged asked me to be one of 10 girls that will accompany her on her wedding day and specifically asked me us to attend her wedding (us meaning CLK and I). Unfortunately CLK was leaving after a couple of days of our meet up and it was up to me to fulfill her wishes. And here I am, packing blogging away about me leaving tomorrow for the wedding. :D

10 years ago I met her, she was this very energetic girl and very popular among the guys. I was jealous! Kidding :P We were in different classes and section so we did not get to know each other until my 3rd year when we shared a house. It was friend at first sight. :D We have been friends ever since. We were like a pea in a pod, always together and because she had transportation and all the other girls we jealous of us, LOL kidding again! but they were probably! :P Haha I joke. I had some rough patches with some girls but they are all forgotten. Well some anyway, girls right, cats fight and all, bla bla bla.

So yeah it will probably be close to 10 years now that I have known her and never did I believe the wedding would come this soon. Less than a year ago it seem so foreign and we both were skeptical about it. Fortunately she met a handsome, dashing (and tall), funny and amazing guy that she is marrying, not once, not twice but three times!! Technically I suppose :P never mind. I will have to blog about that later. :D

So my dear friend, thank you for helping me through those years, our ups and downs, our fights and laugh and constantly getting into trouble and playing in the rain, you taking care of me when I was sick and me of you :) our battles with teachers and bitchy girls, you will be a wife (already are!) soon. :) I could not be happier. Here to many more years of friendship and companionship. And you have to come to my wedding now! :P I love you like my sister.

I miss our good times. Welcome to a new chapter in your life. :)

The Royal Wedding - The wedding dress

The Royal Wedding - Prince William and Kate Middleton

They are showing Live coverage of before the wedding, during and after, which comes up to about 5 hours or more. It's kinda excited but I am not going to be glued to the tv for 5 hours. So I hope to catch the wedding on replay or something. And I have my full rehearsal tonight. :)

I want to wish the royal couple a ton of happiness and babies in the future. :P Don't we all want to see their cute kids?

Long weekend Part 2 and mini haul :D

UPDATE: Pssssstt.....I just realized there's a bunch of pictures in this post.

Sunday my sister and I went to our friend's wedding. I usually take like a billion pictures and I actually just took less than 10 at the wedding. We did take a few pictures with the bride but not the groom - since we don't know him at all - so we were happy. :) And too I didn't take my mom's Canon camera, those pictures would turn out better.

After the wedding my sisters, brother and I went to the PC fair. It's where you can see all the geeks and nerds get crazy over electronics. LOL :P We went there because my sister wanted to get an external hard drive, I wanted to get some empty DVDs and other stuff. This is like a mini haul and I've never post any haul in the past. :)

The we took my mom out for a drink. :) We had shaved ice (or ABC that's what we call it) and it was good. :D My sister and I have been craving for this...and there was a lot of people there too.

September Wedding

2 weeks ago (wow it has been 2 weeks) my uncle got married. :) It was pretty grand, and really interesting. There was singing, and playing music and dancing and to me it was special because most of the people that sung and put on a show are family. :) My family are great. And sometimes it comes with a price. But anyway...that day was pretty amazing and interesting. My uncle is the youngest of 2 siblings so it was pretty grand. :) I'll just leave you with some pictures.

I didn't stay long at the wedding tho, cause my sisters had to leave that night so we went home to pack and stuff. Sad tho that they had to leave so early and it was one of my sister's birthday too.

End of the month wedding

July 31st my cousin's wedding. :) I was in the month you know, so I was skeptical about going to the wedding but since he's my cousin might as well. And it turns out I had a great time!! I met all these family/extended family/relatives that I haven't seen in a long time. :) Really give me the feeling of being home, away from home. <3 My aunts that I have not seen in years, look real good and some grand aunts that I forgotten I am related to (yeah I have a huge extended family that sometimes I don't recognize people, and they recognize me..I know I am bad with names).

So I ended up going there for about 5 hours, for a wedding. Longest wedding I have ever been to. And they are not even mine! Anyway, hung out with cousins that I rarely hung out with, found out one of my cousins' wife had a baby boy (yay nephew!), took pics (non of it is any good but I'll share cause I am great like that) and ate a lot of yummy food. :D Traditional cakes and cookies if you wanna call it that. ^_^ I couldn't be happier.

It was a great weekend, and I am marked for 2 more family weddings till December. Ooo, can't wait.

March 2010

Is is now March 2010. And I have not blogged anything for the past month and a half. Why you ask? Well I'll give you a list.

1. My cat has been catnapped by alien life forms and I tried to get her back but they will only exchange her for McDonald fries that are green in color.
2. I realized the sound that's been coming from under my bed were made by dust bunnies... I mean FOR REAL dust bunnies, bunnies made of dust. I was literally shocked.
3. My camera's battery got busted (effing batteries!!!)
4. One of my besties (Mama) was here on a 5 week holiday and now she is back in Perth. :( I only got to spend half a day with her...I miss her already.
5. My other bestie got engaged in January...I didn't go but I am happy for her :D. My other bestie will be getting engaged in June. :) So that's two engagement in a span of 6 months...I am wondering when my turn will be. CLK, ahem ahem*** babe, hint XD.
6. My married bestie is having her 3rd baby in August or September!!! :D Yay for intolerable kids :P haha, kidding...they are cute, sweet, sugar and spice and everything nice. :D
7. I have been going for my orchestra practice for the last month or so, we played for the Prime Minister of Malaysia on the 22nd of February. :) That was a hectic week...and now I am on cruise control.
8. Will have more shows in April and June. So fingers crossed. :)
9. Been internet-browsing wedding bands...loving the newly fresh designed. We (CLK and I) do it together.
10. Been a lazy ass....(I didn't want to sum it up in 4 words so I made a list XD...ahahaha)


So...it has been some crazy roller coaster and such..and hey I have been playing FarmVille on Facebook, so if you play too ADD me!!! I accept you as neighbors!!! <3
